Review 1：Unit was dated , quite small and the fridge had to be unplugged as it made an incessant noise throughout the night. Compared to many other places we have stayed in felt it was overpriced for what was offered.

Review 3：We were initially disappointed to find our room only had a large mirror in the shower/toilet room area. However the management rectified this almost immediately by providing a full length mirror in the living area the same day.

Review 4：Although in the centre of Picton the motel did not suffer from traffic road noise and was close to all the facilities we needed as tourists. Nearby restaurants and shops were excellent value. The motel managers were extremely obliging and helpful with their knowledge of places to visit locally.

Review 5：The skylight in the room (which was pretty cool) did rattle pretty loudly during strong wind, but it wasn't unbearable.

Review 14：Proximity to ferry and train is very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only there one night but it felt like home. I had hoped for a bigger room, and a double and single bed in the space was a bit cramped, so ask when booking for a room with a sea view and make sure it is big enough for your needs.

Review 15：We would have liked another pillow, but that is personal choice. Those supplied were very "flat" and probably quite old. Breakfast was not an option although there were appliances available in the unit to enable us to provide for ourselves.

Review 16：Getting together with our son for his birthday. Picton is a lovely little town. The motel minders were very welcoming and the unit met our expectations and was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The room was nicely presented. The location was perfect - within walking distance of the ferry, close to restaurants and other facilities.

Rooms are spacious and quiet, and there is a nice garden outside where you can chill out. We stayed for three days and really enjoyed the place.

We were greeted by the owner Kent who was so lovely, he was extremely helpful, took us to our room, and the room was fantastic. Extremely clean and warm, the bed was super comfy. Review 63：Mind you - travellers sometimes make mistakes. I booked 2 nights at Picton Accommodation thinking it was Picton, Ontario (Canada). NOT Picton New Zealand. As soon as I found about my mistake, I wrote a polite email to explain the situation and asked to cancel the reservation. Their cancellation conditions says that "If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged." I notified them on the first day. But they are refusing to reimburse me for the 2nd night., contrary to their cancellation policy. A month later, still no reimbursement.

Review 64：Arriving straight off the inter islander ferry on a cold night, the owners had already turned the heater on in my room and pointed me in the direction of restaurants and the supermarkets. Staff were very helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and cozy. The free Wifi was consistent and good.
