Review 1：It was the most expensive property of this type that we stayed in over the holiday period.
Review 2：Excellent location, close to town and across the road from the supermarket.
Review 3：What is it about NZ accommodation and showers? Poor water pressure & volume abounds, alas the Aldan was no exception. The electric frypan used to be non-stick... I think. Previous users had scraped the surface off, thanks in part to the metal implements provided! It still did the job anyway.
Review 4：Very conveniently located: supermarket and pharmacy right across the road, excellent Dutch bakery/Bakkerij a couple of blocks away, 5-10 minute walk to the iSite, restaurants and waterside. Friendly, helpful owners, available most hours of the day. Lovely cat :) Comfortable room, nicely appointed. I loved the bedspreads! The rooms are serviced daily, including fresh towels, which we didn't actually require, so it would have been nice if we could have "opted out" of this. Good guest laundry with an outdoor clothesline and a dryer, which was quite hot even on the lower setting. Reasonable cooking facilities (hotplates, electric frypan, microwave, fridge) meant I could shop and prepare a full meal for the two of us.
Review 5：Friendly hostess, by far the cleanest and most comfortable motel we stayed in for the money out of 5 motels on our trip. We searched on motels in $145 to $150 bracket. Would highly recommend this motel.
Review 6：With a last moment booking I got this 5 bed apt (upper floor for 2 kids) which is great for a family. I did not mind to only use one bed !!! Very friendly Canadian operator lady.

Review 8：I liked the friendliness and helpful nature of the staff. Being close to the town made it easy to take early morning walks around the marina area, find the supermarket, PO and restaurants. this was the second time that I had stayed there and I highly recommend it.

Review 15：We stayed three nights and loved everything about our spacious well-equipped room. I especially appreciated that the kitchen was equipped with all the necessary things to cook up a gourmet meal from local ingredients (mussels, fish, fruits, etc). The bed was great -- big and nice and firm. The owners were especially helpful on recommending activities and tours to suit.
Review 16：Due to travel arrangements (Picton Ferry) being delayed by several hours, we arrived in Picton at 1.00am instead of 9:40pm. On arriving at the Motel, we found the heaters on all the units we occupied were turned on for our comfort. Wonderful.

Review 51：The units were spacious. Some of our party of 10 had those nearest the BBQ and our host was very willing to make sure it was set for us to cook our dinner. The supermarket is just across the road and it is a short walk to the waterfront. Very convenient and comfortable.

It was an easy walk from the train to the motel for two older people and two school age children.Very handy to the city centre and the foreshore, supermarket virtually across the road. The owner/managers were obliging and friendly. Very nice. We enjoyed the friendliness of the Picton people. Cafe's etc. great! Wonderful fish and chips from the Kentucky Fish Shop.
