Review 1：The accomodation was great --- although we were the only ons on the night we stayed and Varenna was really really quiet. Would love to come back in summer

Review 2：It's a quick walk into town but there's no footpath for part of the way and it doesn't feel that safe to be walking on the road in the dark around bends with cars coming. The power seems to be a bit dodgy in the apartment. It went off once while I was there and it seems like that happens quite a bit. Also found the apartment a little cold in winter. Would be great in summer given the outdoor area.

Review 4：Absolutely no shops around. Had to walk uphill to the apartment with our luggage. Quite scary to walk at night as you have to cross a dark tunnel and very little lights around.. Though we paid a separate fee for housekeeping, we had to dispose of all the garbage.

Review 5：The apartment was new and clean with a fully equipped kitchen. The views were amazing. Short distance to the ferry and the train station. Relaxing place to stay. Though it was a small place, they had lifts which was a definite plus. Apartment had complete security along with cameras and access controls.

Review 6：Perfect location for walking to Varenna and the ferry and train stations. Also right next door to the walking trails. We were worried about noise from the trains, but the apartment is completely quiet. We would definitely stay there again!

Review 7：The apartment's electrical supply a little idiosyncratic to say least! ask agent for adaptor to run hairdryer or use the one from the coffee machine. checkout emergency exit on arrival, we never worked out where it was!

Review 8：We loved Varenna's steep cobbled streets and friendly restaurants and the boat trips from the harbour. Apartment was stylish.

Review 9：It's expensive for one night so can you imagine to pay a little more? Yes! Prepare to PAY 50 EUROS, 50??????? YES!! FIFTY (plus) for the cleaning of the house. You have to pay it YES or YES.

Review 10：The lady who attend us was very kind. It's close to the ferry and the village. 8 minutes by walk. It's really clean and has a fantastic view.

Review 11：Wi-fi didn't work half the time, and when it did, was a bit slow. Toilet was really small in the studio, won't recommend for a bigger boy or girl!

Review 22：Super clean and new. Very modern studio with elevator and a pool. We didn't realize that we had reserved a studio with only a couch bed, but we were extremely surprised at the comfort of the bed. Alessia communicated with us very well throughout and was very friendly and accommodating. Great trip...hope to stay with her again.

Review 23：Additional parking and cleaning charges seemed quite expensive. However, would definitely recommend reserving parking as it is difficult to park around the lake.

Review 33：Have a fantastic view of lake from bacony. The apartment is new, clean and have all you need for staying like home. If you use car there have car park. If you come by train, it's better to stay here than go to the village. From the apartment we can walk to the village and also Villa Monastero. Recommended!

Review 34：-The heater seem to be a bit too cold for the season I stayed but other things are all great:) -Though,it's closed to the station please aware that there aren't any lift or baggage deposit in this station and the hotel is on the hill,so you have to walk up the hill for a while.Manage your baggage well.

Review 35：I stayed for 2 nights here in a studio room.The balcony is large and confront the great view of the mountain and the lake,this is much more than I asked for.All of these great view could also be seen from the room's window which is so picturesque! There are plenty of facilities provided here;microwaves,oven,pan,pot,dishwasher and even the forks and spoons.everything is clean and modern. The safety system is hi-tech The owner is very kind she provided us some snacks and fruit juice in fridge-free of charge. The location is not very far from the Varenna-Esino train station by walking I would visit here again certainly if I had chance in future!

The apartment had an amazing view of the lake and it was so relaxing to sit outside on the balcony. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Hope to stay here again the next time we're in town!

Review 49：Not a single store in the area to buy water or groceries. Not a soul in the train station either. One needs to go to the center of town, a quick cab ride away. All the automation in the flat is a bit stressful (in the beginning) for the seniors, but no problem for the younger ones. No land line phone. The uphill walk to the flat is a challenge for seniors and great for younger ones. Aside from these, the tourist information officer down the hill is horribly rude. Please give her a lecture on manners or replace her.

Review 50：Almost everything is perfect. Beautiful property up on a hill, above the train station and a short walk to the ferry station and lake promenade. Sleek, spanking new modern architecture, well-designed interiors. Peaceful and quiet. Million-dollar view from our Menaggio apartment balcony. Helpful manager Alessia, who appeared upon check-in to orient us with the codes for entering. Also present during check out. Very hi-tech and automated, the process makes one feel safe. We felt at home here. They also paid attention to details - water and fruit juice in the fridge, dishwashing liquid, trash bags, appliances, toiletries, cleaning equipment. Even if we had neighbors later on, we didn't lose our feeling of privacy. Elevators available. Clean. Very professionally-run. A great value-for-money deal. I would recommend this place to visitors. Varenna is also one of the most beautiful towns in Como.

Review 52：Alessia was extremely friendly hostess and everything was taken care of perfectly, even when we had a bit of difficulties with the balcony door. There was plenty of room for us, two adults and three children. This has to one of the cleanest places where I have ever stayed! And the view, wow!

Review 53：Didn't get much sleep as the pool circulation system malfunctioned in the middle of the night. The entry gate and front door are automatically opened with a key code-- what happens in a power outage?

Review 55：We had a room that stated it sleep four which it did. We had a bedroom with a double bed and a large sofa bed but there wasn't a door between the bedroom and living room just a pair of wardrobes. Fine for us but maybe not for others wishing for privacy whilst resting.

Review 57：We were in, what was described as a one bedroom apartment, but unfortunately this was not how I would have described this apartment. It was in fact a studio flat with a wardrobe between the sitting area and the "bedroom". It was very small and very uncomfortable for 2 adults and 1 16 year old. There is no balcony furniture which is extremely lacking. The apartment could also be doing with a washing machine (although don't know where it would go) microwave and a DVD player. We had booked a 4 night stay but had to leave after 3 as we had become very uncomfortable. Also on the day of leaving it was pouring of rain and difficult for us to take the trash down to the bins in Verena (around 10 minute walk) but Alessia insisted we squeeze it into our very small car with all of our luggage - even though you are paying £50 for cleaning - shocking! Unfortunately 500 euro for a 4 night stay in this studio was not good value for money as comfort was missing. Lastly, the location is beautiful re scenery but you feel very isolated as far as being in amongst a little life but if isolation is what you're looking for then this would be excellent - although noisy with the road and the train station.

Review 58：Views of the Lake were first class and was easy to find with sat nav. Welcome from Allesia was excellent, very friendly and showed us around the apartment. Very new and modern with most requirements for a self-catering stay.

Review 59：A lot of thought for the tourist went into the design of this apartment. Our family of 5 very tall people were comfortable. Bathroom wonderful. We did not cook but nice kitchen. Kids enjoyed swimming pool. Designed to stay very clean. And of course easy location from train station with great view of lake como.

Review 60：There is no washing machine, no iron and no drying rack. No microwave. The a/c in the living area did not work, when we mentioned this, Alessia said the previous occupants had told her this also but it had not been fixed. No credit card is available for payment of the stay but Alessia was very flexible in allowing us time to withdraw the required amount.

Review 61：Liked proximity to train station and ferry terminal ( does have a set of stairs to navigate down under then up the other side of a tunnel, with an uphill walk to unit). Excellent security and a lift. Unit Varenna is modern with a stunning view of the lake, beautiful to sit in the afternoon and enjoy.
