Reviews for Hotel Ollin Teotl
Review 1:I had no complaints.
Review 2:The front desk couple were amazing and extremely nice. They took care of us and let us check in early. It's extremely close to the pyramids. Maybe a 6 min drive at most.
Review 3:Location is perfect: only 20 minutes walk to the Puerto 2 and 10 minutes to the city center. It's a quiet oasis, with no street noises. Nice landscaping and very beautiful original art in the room. The owners were very attentive to us. The room was big, the bed was very comfortable, all was very clean. We couldn't wish for a better accommodation, we would stay here again!
Review 4:Everything was fantastic!
Review 5:The owners were SOOOOO nice! We got to the hotel after being very frustrated with the travel from Mexico City only to find that the Pyramid site was closed. The hotel owner was waiting for us, she drove us into town to get dinner, offered to wait for us (we decided to walk around for a little while). Because we only had limited time, the owner's husband woke us up in the morning and provided coffee and a muffin for us and then drove us to the pyramid site so we could see the pyramid before catching our flight later that afternoon. The hotel room was awesome, king size bed, jacuzzi tub (it fills very slowly, but eventually gets there) nice shower, beautiful pool and the sauna is as pictured (we didn't get to try it because of how late we arrived). The hotel is really close to town (less than a mile) and close to the pyramid (about a mile) Honestly an awesome experience! We didn't get to spend much time at the pyramid, but we are planning to go back and when we do, we will stay here again!
Review 6:Can't think of anything I did not like.
Review 7:The very friendly, personable but not pushy staff; the very clean and carefully detailed hotel grounds; the unassuming but very comfortable room with the softest bed I found in 14 days in Mexico; the experience as a whole for a whole lot less money than expected.
Review 8:The peaceful environment and home feel. The staff are wonderful people.
Review 9:Just as advertised. Perfect setting. Wonderful breakfast!
Review 10:simple and clean, no ac or heating
Review 11:WIFI did not work. Owners tried to restart router but could not fix it.
Review 12:Beautiful grounds Close to temples
Review 13:Just to let travelers travelling by bus to Teotihuacan that the hotel is a bit of a distance from the pyramids. They will gladly come and pick you up. Just be sure to let them know you are not coming by car!
Review 14:The staff and hotel facilities were excellent and great value for the cost of my room. The most comfortable bed in Mexico! The hotel grounds were spectacular, with a very clean swimming pool and beautifully landscaped. I highly recommend this hotel and encourage travelers to try it. I would also recommend you contact the hotel if you are travelling by bus to Teotihuacan to arrange pick up from the bus stop, as it is a bit of a distance from the pyramids to the hotel. They will be more than happy to pick you up!
Review 15:The water of the pool is cold and there is not a good pressure of water at the shower. It would be very conveniente if they had restaurante service
Review 16:The owners are very kind and try to make their guests feel the best. The gardens are great
Review 17:Hot water takes a looooong time to come through for the shower. They zipped up our suitcases and moved them around. Nothing missing...but weird. Sheets are VERY strongly fragrant from flowery-perfumed laundry detergent. Could barely breathe, so we actually stripped them off.
Review 18:Super friendly couple runs the place. They stayed up for our late arrival. Quiet, neat, clean. Nice outdoor areas for hanging out.
Review 19:Everything was great...the quality of service and rooms were much better than expected, given the low price.
