Review 1：Fantastic view of lake and mountains. Some distance up the hill made for a challenging walk to the ferry but this was ones choice if you didn't drive or take a taxi. Lots to see and near by but make time just to enjoy the view from this wonderful apartment.

Review 2：You really need a car to stay in this apartment as it is on the hillside above Varenna and a long, hilly walk to the train station, ferries and shops.

Review 3：The location was excellent with beautiful views over Lake Como. Very good train and ferry services from Vareena to Como, Milan and around the lake. Lina is very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed in the apartment. We would happily return again.

Review 9：The wifi was broken the week we went - hence the sad face - but Lina was brilliant in keeping us up to date with the problem and being responsive to our questions about things to do and the local area when we couldn't check the internet.

Review 10：The apartment was comfortable and had all we needed but the most amazing thing was the view - it is the perfect place to relax. Lina was a great host and helped us with all our queries very quickly. I would definitely go back again! Even the walk up from town was a nice bit of exercise (it's hard but doable at 5 months pregnant!) though i'd recommend hiring a car to do it in the day and go up to Chiavenna!

Review 11：The view is stunning and its a short drive/10min walk downhill to Varenna and access to train and ferries to other places on Lake Como. Supermarket 800m away with great produce. Kitchen well equipped and we cooked in a couple of nights. Hosts were friendly and very responsive to questions before and during our stay.

Review 12：didn't have a bad experience per se, but tuning the TV was difficult which would have put an electrical engineer to the test. (but then again, all TVs are hard to tune)

Apartment was beautiful, clean and very well equipped. Location was quiet but the supermarket was walkable at only 800meters up a hill. Verenna was a lovely place to eat with nice restaurants and incredible views and was only a 12 Euro taxi ride away

Review 29：There is only a couple of grocery stores so make sure to stock up prior to reaching Varenna. No problem if your eating out however.

Review 30：View is amazing! Just as in the pictures, Apartment was very functional and spacious! A cot and high hair was provided for our young son. The location was perfect for us.

Review 31：Was quite hot after midday as sun shines through curtains into living/kitchen area. Aircon was available so this helps. Was quite a long walk from Varenna up the hill to apartment but this was not an issue for us. Soundproofing was not great so hope for quiet tenants nearby.

Review 33：The view from the apartment was just breathtaking. It truly has the best view of the lake and mountains. The apartment is light and very comfortable. We usually go for luxury villas but this apartment was just amazing.

Review 44：Varenna is probably not the typical Lake Como tourist destination. It is expensive to ferry your car to Menagio and Bellagio for trips to Lugano. However, Varrena has a wonderful small town feel (not an urban feel like Lecco or Como) quiet and stunningly beautiful.

Review 55：The wi-fi never worked although our host tried to fix it. To be fair the wi-fi never works properly elsewhere in Italy so this is more a common problem than a problem of this particular place.

Review 56：The apartment is very clean, cozy and well equipped. The beds are really comfortable including the rollaway sofa. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet and the terraces offer breathtaking views. The apartment layout ensures constant air circulation so one can do without the a/c even on a hot day (we've never switched ours). A parking space in the garage was very useful because there is not much parking space on the road. There is a mini-market in a walking distance. And the ferry station from where one can get to the other towns is just down the road. The apartment is located in a quiet corner (5 minutes drive up the mountain sepentine from the lake shore). It was good for us because we especially looked for a quiet location far from the busy life on the lake shore. But those who want to hangout in crowds should better chose an apartment on the shore or even in a different town because Varenna and Perledo are really tiny and quiet.
