The hotel is set in Vico Equense, 6.2 miles from Sorrento; which you can easily reach by the Circumvesuviana train along the coast. This train also connects you to Naples and the fascinating archaeological site of Pompei.

Review 1：Our room was on the ground floor and was a little bit dark. This wasn't mention in the room description when we made the booking.

Review 2：Location is great. The view from the restaurant during the breakfast was amazing. They offer free shuttle transfer to the near town and to the train station. The staff were very polite and met all our requirement . Defiantly next time when I visit this part of Italy I'll stay again here.

Review 5：There are not too many dining options, as the hotel is far from town center ( actually is not in Vico, but in Seiano - a station in which not all the trains stops). Breakfast does not include any vegetables, beside the fresh fruits. Our room had an issue with the shower drains, specific to the sea hotels as they tend to get stuck from the sand.

Review 6：The hotel offers spacious rooms with all the necessary facilities (hair dryer, air conditioning, mini fridge, free wifi, sat tv, free sun beds and umbrella, etc. Our room had a backyard as well - around 10 m2 - with a gate that leads to a back alley). They also have two pools, a relaxing area, special access for chair people and free parking for everyone. The breakfast is generous and is served on a terrace with sea view. Too bad the coffee is not even close to the famous italian coffee we all know. They offer free shuttle for train station (which is on a climbing road, 1.4km away from the hotel). From the port near the hotel you can pick a boat to Sorrento or Capri (carefull though with their schedule as they tend to miss it).

Review 18：We have never visited a hotel with such a friendly staff. The location is awesome. You can visit many small towns and archeological sites and come home to the hotel to have a swim in the pool or the ocean, looking out on Mt Vesuvius and have a splendid cocktail. The train station is at walking distance, however, if you are not really fit, the free shuttle service will take you there whenever you want to go.

Review 23：The rooms were far too small. We booked a quad and ended up with what was actually just a double with two extra beds squeezed in there. Ants dominated the bathroom and the swimming pool had far too much chlorine in it - your eyes hurt after going under the water just once.

Review 24：Great location right next to the beach. An Umbrella and chairs are reserved on the beach for anyone staying at the hotel. Lovely beach front restaurant with delicious food and fantastic breakfast room on the roof terrace with amazing views of the sea and amalfi and vesuvio.

Review 42：We stayed at a 2-bedroom apartment which was located a five-minute walk away from the hotel building. Apartment was functional, comfortable and offered a great view to Vesuvio over the bay of Naples. Air conditioning was efficient enough to keep the apartment fresh event at 35C temperature. Staff was very helpful and friendly. For us Le Axidie was a great base during our week-long stay.

Review 43：We were travelling as a large group.... Thought the hotel was nicewith beautiful views across the bay of naples and of mountvesuvius... Convenient place to stay and see the sorrento/ amalficoast area with easy connections by train and bus... Even tough thestation was a bit far, the hotel shuttle was always available for ato and from from the station.the staff was great and extremely helpful....... the restaurants around the hotels were super......
