Review 1：The bathroom upstairs could have had a shower and the low ceiling above the bed upstairs and heat gain from the afternoon sun made it a very warm space to sleep in.

Review 2：The view from the deck was fabulous. The apartment was spacious and the location superb. Very modern and clean. Plenty of plugs to charge ipods, phones, ipads. Master bedroom with ensuite has great views and deck. Second bedroom comfortable and easy access to separate bathroom.

Review 3：My husband and I and 2 young teenage boys booked a studio for one night. At the last minute we decided to stay an extra night. The staff were great. Although they were booked out they did their best to accommodate us and We were given an up grade. The apartments were great, lovely views of the marina and sound. Also close to everything.

Review 4：Beware that this motel has "a number of off-site locations" so you may not stay where you actually booked. We were "upgraded" to Oxley Apartments. While the apartment was fantastic, the woman in charge was incredibly rude and the band in the bar below kept us awake until 1am.

Review 10：A few rough spots at the outset with the wifi and some terrible garbage smell as you entered the building but the motel staff came and fixed everything right away.

Review 11：We actually stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on the waterfront. It was unbelievably nice with a gourmet kitchen, lovely furniture, comfortable beds, and a lanai with a dining table and lounges. It was perfect- better than I ever imagined.

Review 12：When we arrived they supposedly had a plumbing issue, and had booked us in at a cheaper hotel across the road, without the views and facilities that I had paid for. No discount was offered when I asked

Review 17：The location was amazing. We had a top floor room with a stunning view of the harbour of Picton. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. The room was spotless. The large sliding doors offered a spectacular view and place to sit on the patio. We paid a little extra for a top floor room with kitchenette and the value for money was exceptional. We spent a happy Christmas here!

Review 18：We booked a double budget room and realised only when we got there that the WC and shower were all within the room. The staff let us decide if we wanted it. But we really did not want to wonder around looking for a replacement, so stayed there for the first night. We switched on a better unit with additional charges for the second night. My feedback would be that such a room with so called ensuite toilet, should never be put up for booking, especially in first world NZ. If they do wish to put it up, I suggest that the bath and WC area be partitioned asap.

Review 31：Budget Room 102 is a glamorous garage. This is ONE room accomodation - including the toilet and Shower. There is NO privacy, and little ventilation. There is also a small lip in the floor - just enough to trip on. Note the double bed faces the toilet and shower!

Review 34：The location of apartment #2 right on the harbour frontage was the standout feature of our stay as the view was fantastic. Lots of comings and goings of boats and people made it dynamic as well as beautifully scenic. Coupled with the comfy interiors of the apartment, including a kitchen that was perhaps better stocked with equipment than mine at home, made it a perfect stay.

Oxley apartment even had washing and drying facilities, which was very handy halfway through our trip. Wonderful terrace for breakfast overlooking the sound. Will be back!

Review 38：The view! Incredible. Good, clean room. Really liked that shampoo was in a big bottle instead of little ones (they run out so fast). Staff really helpful, suggested really good places to visit around Picton.

Review 48：The service couldn't be faulted, the location was right on Picton harbour with views overlooking Queen Charlotte Sound. The apartment was modern, clean and comfortable, with everything available for self catering. If you didn't feel like cooking cafes and restaurants were literally at the door step. Being on the quiet side of the harbour it was surprisingly peaceful, yet we were still able to watch the comings and goings of the island ferries. What more can we say!

Review 62：We booked a one bedroom apartment as we like to have some space when we travel. We assumed from the description the apartment would have a king bed in the bedroom. Instead it had a double bed and a single bed crammed into the living room. The bedroom contained 3 single beds - totally unsuitable for a couple. Ended up being worse than booking a motel room. Bathroom was tiny.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and immediately across the street from a hotel with a very good and reasonably priced restaurant. It's a perfect location for someone traveling on the Cook Strait ferry.

Review 65：The Appartment had great views and was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful with any requests on the local area.Would definately stay again.

Review 66：The upstairs bedroom was affected by lights from the outside buildings- so in an ideal world would need boarding to ceiling or blinds on all windows- but once you get to sleep you really don't notice - not a direct light just like you have left a light on downstairs! Of course you have another seperate double bedroom downstairs as well.

Review 81：We liked the large room with a comfortable bed and living area and a balcony with a fabulous view over Picton harbour. It was very quiet at night. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes and cutlery. Everything was spotless and the owners/managers were friendly and helpful. We could walk to the ferry from the motel (although they had a free shuttle) and lots of cafes and shops were nearby. We stayed for three non-consecutive nights and hope to stay again.

Review 87：We had a beautiful off-site apartment in what appeared to be the old Oxley Hotel building. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, with every detail attended to that would enhance our stay. I felt as if a friend had readied the apartment for us. We had a perfect view of Picton harbor. We only stayed one night but would have stayed longer had I realized how lovely the apartment was and how cute Picton is.

Review 119：We are Kiwis but living in the UAE. We arrived to windows open and no heating on in the winter. There was actually no heating source other than a wall panel heater. These are designed to keep a rooms chill at bay, not hear it from freezing cold to warm. The place was lovely, modern and large but we had no enjoyment. My husband and I were so cold we had to get into bed fully clothed. Maybe not an issue for all, but for us, bot good.
