Review 2：Our hosts, Jan and Ian, were super friendly and we really appreciated their hospitality. Home-cooked brekkie was fantastic with homemade muesli to start, then eggs to your liking and gluten-free options available. The studio at the back of the house is very private with ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. Excellent experience.

Our hosts made us welcome and made us feel very relaxed with friendly conversation. We would highly recommend this B & B accommodation and would stay again when in Westport.

Review 12：Our hosts were exceptional in their friendliness and willingness to make us comfortable and feel at home. We enjoyed their company and knowledge of the area. The bathroom for our room was next door with separate shower room, separate toilet and spa bath with hand basin. It didn't matter as very nice soft robes were supplied. One of our favourite stays.Jan and Ian made us a cup of tea whenever we felt like one.

Review 22：I felt very welcome and my room was well appointed and comfortable, with a small patio leading to the garden. The kitchen facilities for a b&b were excellent and breakfast was great. Only a short stroll away from town centre, shops and restaurants.

Their home is beautiful and the room was very comfortable/luxurious. The Whittaker's chocolates on the pillows were delightful. Would highly recommend!!!!

Review 82：We were unprepared for the rooms being so much a part of the owners own living space and home. While wonderfully appointed with every detail thought out, you are still renting a bedroom in Jan and Ian's home and privacy is not the same as a B&B. We still loved it, but for our own personal taste if the stay were longer than a night or two we would look for bigger, more private space.

We loved the Denniston Dog for dining which is about 2 blocks from Havenlee. Jan prepares a great breakfast is willing to provide a cooked breakfast if you want it as well. Very accommodating.

Review 85：Driving into Westport it seemed like an ordinary little town. But opening the gate to Havenlee Homestay was like a secret garden of warmth and friendliness. Jan and Ian are the perfect hosts. Our room, which was an annex off the house is all new and lovely decorated, with our own garden deck and view. Laundry facilities were a welcome addition, and the homemade breakfast and jams were delicious. 5 Star perfection!
Review 86：It was not hard to tell that our hosts really enjoy running this homestay. From the moment we arrived we were so welcomed. Previous reviews stated that this was the best place that they stayed on the South Island and we coulnd't agree more. Breakfast was fabulous and tasted as good as presented. The sheets were crisp and fresh we felt like royalty when we climbed into our bed. All in all highly recommended.

Breakfast was also excellent served with eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, berries and etc. Additionaly in the morning we got a freshly baked muffins for the further journey. Highly recommend to those who are traveling along the west coast and wish prosperity to the hosts.
