On a hill in the Gero hot-spring area, Hotel Pastor features an indoor swimming pool and indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. Guests can experience water aerobics and enjoy relaxing oil massages and facials. A free shuttle is available from JR Gero Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking.
Guests can enjoy plenty of sunlight in the air-conditioned rooms, which features Western beds and a tatami (woven-straw) sitting area. A flat-screen cable TV, a desk and a fridge are included in each. The private bathroom has a hairdryer and slippers.
Pastor Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Gero Onsen Gasshomura Village and a 15-minute drive from Zensho-ji Temple.
You can sing their favorite tunes at the karaoke rooms or purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop. A sauna and tennis court are also on-site and free parking is available. The front desk has luggage storage and photocopying services.
French full course meals are available for dinner at La Poele D'or. Matsukaze and Shiki-an serves traditional multi-course dinners and Japanese set breakfasts.

Review 1：If you don't have your own car, there would be a little problem asthe hotel is located on a hill. Walking to downtown take 20 minutes withpicturesque Gero view. However, on the way uphill might have some sweat.

Review 2：All staffs were sincerely nice and helpful. All facilities were in goodcondition. The room was really big compared to conventional Japaneseroom, actually 4 people can fit in there. There are futons provided inaddition to western style beds for those who would like sleep like localpeople. Onzen was nice and clean. The hotel provides you a taxito/from the station.

Review 4：Good stop-over option on route to Takayama! Many facilities. Free Shuttle bus from train station (Hotel pays for your taxi fare!) Fantastic room views across Gero. Free breakfast with western and local options.

Staff at the Hotel Pastor went out of their way to ensure guests were comfortable and well looked after. The meals were plentiful and delicious and the setting and views were spectacular.
