Review 1：My only negative comment relates to the fact that as the only single guest (everyone else was there as a family or couple) I was given a pre-arranged single table every morning - whereas the other guests had free roam of the two breakfast rooms. My table was in a walk way with two doors behind my back - which did not feel comfortable. I was in the darker room whereas all the other guests were able to sit in the light, bright conservatory. As a single guest you are always a bit alone and this served fro make me feel more alone. However - it was my only concern in a stay that was, in all other senses, fantastic.

Review 2：There is a great deal I liked about this hotel. It is a family business and the owners make an effort to interact with and show an interest in their guests. They are interesting and charming hosts. The room was immaculate - both in terms of cleanliness and also in terms of its tasteful furnishings. When I decided to stay an extra night, they worked hard to ensure I had a room, even though, at Christmas, the hotel was essentially full. Breakfast was varied and tasty - with a wide variety of cold meat and sausage cuts, cheeses, breads, fruit, cereals, yoghurts etc... The staff were attentive and tea/ coffee served immediately. There is a huge amount of parking directly outside and I always got a park even across the four nights, even though the hotel was full. The hotel is well located in terms of restaurants, the church, two supermarkets, post office, tourism information and bakeries. It is also within 5 minutes walk of the lake and the other aspects of the resort.

Review 3：The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has lots of choice and the tastiest boiled eggs ever! The good size rooms are immaculate and the beds comfortable.

Review 9：Sooo cozy, very clean. The city is cute, really small and people speak only a little french, even less english. A lot of options and beautiful landscapes around the city and the hotel. Great getaway, beautiful! The room is very beautiful and comfortable.

Review 10：Stephan was a great man both the owner of the hotel and he was in the reseption. He helped me to take my luggages from the car and was very kind through my stay in the hotel. Breakfast was great, climate of the hotel and the rooms were perfect. There is a parking lot infront of the hotel and free of charge! There is an italien restorant near the hotel and have real delicious italien pizza! Scenary were fantastic and the place itself peacefull. It was one of my favourite hotels in my journeys. I believe many people should go and experiance the nature there. Thank you for everthing!

Review 28：We loved everything about this hotel; the warm welcome, the cleanliness, the hospitality, the comfy and spacious room, the breakfast .... It's perfectly placed to access the numerous waymarked walking and cycling routes and the scenery is outstanding.

Review 30：The hotel is located in the center of Bütgenbach (near the Fagnes) and has a private parking. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, with a very relaxing and warm atmosphere, thanks to the right choice of colours and materials. The breakfast is served in a cosy room and offers a good selection of tasty and fresh products. The owners are very pleasant and take good care of their guests. Overal a great relaxing place to recommend.

Review 37：The hotel was locked when we arrived at 7.30 on a Sunday night, butthere was a phone number on door and lady came within less than 5 minswhen I called the number, so not a big deal.

Review 38：This hotel is the best I have stayed in Belgium/ Germany Border. Theplace was spotlessly clean. The rooms were large,shower was excellentquality and the towels were all nice and clean and smelt clean.Also wehad use of a garage to park our bikes in. The breakfast was very wellprepared and plenty of chooses. Coffee was also excellent tasting. Iwould highly recommend this place to stop, also there is a pub at end ofstreet and around the corner just up a bit a Italian Restaurant. All ina beautiful area and not far from Malmedy or the a27-e42 motorway
