Review 1：A very small shower cubicle, and only two small sachets of shampoo in the bathroom

Review 2：The owners were friendly and gave a good run down on what activities to do and helpful tips of when and where to go, the units were very nicely decorated and obviously reasonably new.

Review 3：The bathroom facility i.e. display of mirror not in front of taps, the hot & cold taps being separated.

Review 8：Great location to the lake Matheson, very easy to find just off the main road, free parking and wifi. The unit was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Great service, the lady on reception was really helpful with places of interest.

Review 9：We were welcomed with a warm room. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot with a good amount of water and it was an easy few minutes drive (or a five to ten minute walk) to the main area of Fox Cooking facilities were good. Surroundings were pretty.

Review 15：The room was spacious, clean and lovely - the outside didn't do the room justice! I arrived just after sunset and checked in quite quickly. I was given some top tips regarding places to eat and things to do in the area then was shown my room. They had already turned the heater on so it was nice and toasty. A very pleasant stay!

Review 16：The walk around Lake Matheson is beautiful and a 6 minute car ride to the location. Town is quaint and walking distance. The helicopter flight over the glaciers is a must.

Review 17：Spacious unit which was warm, cosy and very clean with a very comfortable bed. Unit was roomier than the standard "studio unit" so was very welcoming. Good location for everything in area and very good value for the cost

Review 54：There are not that many places in New Zealand that can beat the view from the Lake Matheson motel! Surrounded by mountains it was beautiful both at sunset and in the morning (despite the drizzle and mist). Our room was very spacious and clean. The heater in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise after a day of hiking, often in the rain. The cafes and restaurants of the Fox Glacier village are within walking distance and our host was very helpful when providing recommendations for dinner and activities. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Review 57：We arrived late afternoon on Christmas Day, there is nowhere to have dinner. The owner was so nice to offer us dinner, so that we could still have a lovely Christmas day. The location is great, just a few minutes drive from lake matheson. The owner was so helpful and friendly. We do really enjoy the stay!

Review 61：We stayed at a two bedroom apartment, which was spacey, modern and equipped by all we needed. The fridge was broken, but in a few minutes after our complaint it was replaced by another one - the staff was really friendly. As it was heavily raining we appreciated the covered in front parking. Very good base for Fox Glacier and Lake Matheson. Quiet place.

Review 62：Poor room facility - very limited shampoo/wash gel/conditioner, almost no hangers/cookeries. Poor service - barely understand customers' request, slow response/reaction to daily operation issues (process is too long to deliver the issue to manager who is off-site and get the answer back). Hardly to get cash back - hotel intends to offer extra rooms rather than refund for the over-charge caused by misunderstanding

Review 68：Really friendly and helpful owners made it a real pleasure to stay there. Lent out a bike and helmet freely so I could take a ride out to the lake the motel is named after. Room was clean, comfortable, had a nice modern and airy feel. Can be nice to sit on the unit porch too. Not right in the village center, but a very easy few minutes stroll to it, so still very convenient to walk to restaurants, etc. And so wonderfully quiet on a night!
