Review 1：Super small shower, a bit old, noisy fridge in room

Review 3：The room had window and door facing the reception and we could not open either as people were passing by so it felt like a prison cell. Weird smell in the room and many mosquitos

Review 12：Although it didn't spoil our time, it was a surprise that, with such a hot climate, our room didn't have air conditioning — just a ceiling fan. It also didn't have a window. The hotel's private beach was awash with dried seaweed (something that one feels could be cleaned up, to a certain extent).

Review 13：The staff throughout the hotel — from front desk to bar staff to restaurant staff to the entertainment — were very friendly and helpful. Being located by the sea was very nice for meals by the sound of the waves and the sight of the red moon rising over the ocean. It was a reasonably short walk to superior beaches.

Breakfast dreary - staff generally most unhelpful - All in all an expensive mistake - my companion and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Review 26：The staff is ok, maybe we have been unlucky with the lady at the end of her working day. Getting to San Teodoro downtown requires a 20 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the hotel, just a few steps from the pool, nevertheless the spot is average compared to the incredible locations a few minutes away by car.

Review 28：196 € for that hotel ruin is criminal. They do not even have 24h reception, breakfast is terrible, rooms should been renovated 10 years ago, in old shower cabin you can not fit adault.... Real value ~40€.

Review 29：What I didn't like was the fact that not all the rooms have air condition so for that reason we had to change room, and had to settle for a smaller room that was near the parking and a nightclub across the street but dispite all that the room was very clean.

Review 30：I liked the fact that hotel was situated on the beach and we didn't have to walk very far. What I also liked was that the hotel was a short walk from San Theodoro where all the shops and restaurants were. The grounds are very well kept and the staff and animators are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back and stay at L'Esagano for the great value and location.

Review 45：The hotel is very cosy, quiet and clean, the staff is lovely! Very safe and comfortable rooms. Location by the sea adds to it a nice atmosphere. It's only 3 min drive to all the shops and restaurants in the town, only 10-15 min to La Cinta beach- lovely place. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

There are not a lot of hotels right on the beach but this one has its own little beach with a larger one just next store. Set out of town but a shuttle runs constantly to take you to San Teodorro and other beaches.

Review 50：I'm an experienced traveler and used to stay at many hotels of different rank but it's the first time I have such a negative impression. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel if you are not a local guy as foreigners are seem to be unwelcome there. Here are some notes from our 10-day stay in the hotel: 1. Stuff does not speak any other language except Italian 2. Rooms are small and do not have air conditioning (mind that the temperature there is rarely under +30) 3. No mosquito nets on windows (and it's impossible to close windows as it's there's no air conditioning) 4. Walls are totally not soundproof, all sounds and even speech from the neighboring rooms and the bathrooms are heard in yours 5. No shampoo/shower gel refill 6. No remote control in TV (but it's fine since we didn't watch it, as there were only few Italian channels and no channels for foreigners) 7. No free wi-fi access, to use very slow one, you must pay 1 EUR per hour 8. No laundry 9. Awful breakfast: flies sit on food, no vegetables at all, bad fruits (only apples and oranges), same boiled eggs are served several days in a row if they are not eaten the day before 10. Hotel visitors are not allowed to occupy free tables in the hotel bar if the restaurant is full (even though it's the same building) 11. Loud music and annoying old-school animation all day long till the midnight 12. Sun beds are not free (5 EUR per person), moreover, hotel visitors are not allowed to lay on the hotel beach with own towels, in this case, the stuff will rudely ask to leave the hotel beach and move to the public beach! 12. The hotel is EXTREMELY overpriced and unwelcoming.

On the last day of our stay the Hotel owner tied a donkey to a tree in the car park. The rope was so short the donkey couldn't sit down or drink from a bucket on the floor. The donkey was clearly in distress, had to force the hotel staff to help the animal by threatening to call the police.

Review 59：Location and environment are excellent! Beatiful garden with many flowers and trees where hotel and rooms are situated. There is a swiming pool with sun beds around. Very suitable for families with children as well as couples. Dinners are very tasteful and delicious.
