Review 1：No Wifi in the rooms, only internet cable. Shops are in walking distance, but if you want to see Portimao or Feragudo you need a car.

Review 2：The indoor spa and fitness area is very nice. Rooms are spacious, nice view from the balcony and a large bathroom.

Review 3：There is a very bad smell coming from the nearby lake, and you can't open the windows because mosquitos come in and practically invade your room. Also, hotel is quite removed so the taxi took a lot of time to get to us, which was a big inconvenience.

Review 5：From the directions of the hotel we drive straight there. But the signs only said riverside not Agua hotel. And it was very dark and we could see no lights on and thought it was just a block of flats so drove awAy again. You need at least a sign saying hotel reception or a sign saying Auga hotel! Also the smell of sulphur very strong when the river was low.

Review 9：Breakfast was really bad quality, so was restaurant overall. No wifi in the rooms, only in reception (it dont work there) Room service doesent clean your room and dont even make your bed, never seen service like that, and i have travelled a lot. Staff is rude, location is really bad. This hotell is meant for package tourist (and it was full of them when we visited) who doesent know better. Dont waste your money to this bad quality hotel, there are better options available.

Review 17：No WiFi in the room. They provide only cable internet in the rooms, so for people travelling with tablets or mobile phones, this is a disaster. You have to go to the restaurant or reception to be able to get WiFi. There is a smell coming from the river and in the mornings can be very smelly. My double bed was a two singles that were attached together. The middle part, wasn't lined so it wasn't comfortable.

Review 18：The room, bathroom and hotel overall is very clean. The stuff were too kind as well, and happy to help. The view is great if you have river view room. Huge car park at the hotel, free of charge Location wise, if you are looking for a place to relax, this is a hotel for you. Portimao is few min away from taxi which cost something like 10 Euros. Albufeira is a bit away and that is where the parties mainly are. I guess in very hot weather, the outdoor pool can be enjoyable. It wasn't very hot when I visited.

Review 22：Lovely spa, nice and clean rooms, good staff en amazing view. Location was quiet and isolated, like on a Island but near trainstation, busses nearby and good bikes to hire. No need for a car.

Surprisingly no wifi was available in the room unless you carry hard wired devices, which meant the only wifi was in reception.

Review 31：Hair dryer not provided in the room and in order to have one we were request to deposit 10 Euros also in order to have wireless for the ipad they requested 2.30 Euros per day to provide a router in the studio room then we decided to purchase one costing us in shop only 18 Euros. Furthermore we requested a morning call for 06.30 am on our departure date somehow we had the call at about 07.10 am. Also at the time of checkout we were requested to pay a bill from the restaurant of 49 Euros and I explained the receptionist that was an error because we had a Dinner at Susteferragudo Restaurant and not at the hotel, however the receptionist was still not convinced, then I said in order prove you are wrong I will send to my cousin a copy of the bank statement and this morning he proved that they were wrong then apparently they have apologized for the error. Therefore in my books and in my experience any bills should be authorized by the clients signature at all times clients request a bill to be debited. Overall I find the Hotel to far out from main towns

Review 91：1. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. As a result it got very steamy. this led to the smoke alarm outside bathroom to go off and a phone call from reception. However, the waitress was very helpful. 4. the juice was watered down fruit squash. 5. The smell from river was noticeable even in late February. 6. The double bed were two singles pushed together with two uneven mattresses which led to an uncomfortable night's sleep.

Review 102：Well, it took us a while to find this place as we kept punching into the sat/nav "Lagoa" as listed on your booking form. Eventually we called into a police station and was told we should have punched in "Parchal" which then took us straight there. Excellent hotel and a very comfortable suite looking out onto the river. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. We would go again.

Review 103：for a holiday, it is too remote, it is misleading information as the hotel is not located in Ferragudo but in Perchal a very run down town with no restaurants or evening/night life at all, the hotel food is basic and we were bed and breakfast but had to pay 19 Euros for an all inclusive meal, no al a carte, we only wanted a l x course decent meal so expensive and no choice. advertised as indoor swimming pool, but this is a splash pool 2 ft deep and about 8-10ft square. I would not stay again unfortunately, Do you own the taxi business? as the free transfer boat was not running out of season we spent a fortune on taxi's as almost no public transport.

Review 110：It was our 3rd time at the hotel. We like it very much. We stayed in a studio with a great view to the pool and a great balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed. The supermarket is just a 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The TV is big, the AC always works and very well. This time there even were electric bikes to rent at the reception. It is great that the hotel provides pool towels so you always have dry towels. You can use most of the spa for free.

Review 111：They are promoting that they can get you to the beach by boat since theyare located by the riverside. They are saying that they do this in thesummermonths. That only means JUli. We were so dissapointed that we leftthe hotel. The river was extremely smelly!

Review 125：As with all hotels of this size and calibre, the staff apear cold and too formal. Breakfast was an extra 9 euros per person and really not worth it. Staff were strict about not serving snacks at night and made me feel uncomfortable asking for them.Swim caps mandatory for indoor pool, hygenic but a pain.

Review 128：We needed a hotel close enough for my son (11) to play golf at Silves(15mins away). Our family consited of 3 adults, two teens, 2 x 11 year olds and a 6 year old. This was the perfect hotel, we booked 2 x 2 bedroom suits and our views were stunning - right infront of the infinity pool and river. The Spa was wonderful and we all enjoyed using it at no extra cost. The restaurant breakfast was good and the lunch/dinner menus were also good but a little pricey. The hotel is less than 10 mins away from the very quaint and beautiful fishing village of Ferragudo. Also only 15 mins from Aqua Shipping Mall and Portimao centre. There is a mini supermarket, a tabacco/magazine shop and a really good Chinease shop 2 minutes from the hotel - easy to walk to.
