Review 1：The fact I had to leave Casa do Juncal.

Review 2：The front line staff, three young women, are excellent; friendly, genuinely kind, hard working and extremely pleasant. The owners are very kind and helpful. The historical building was beautifully transformed into a modern comfortable home. I felt good during the stay and will miss their lovely breakfast.

Review 3：Hard to find-the town council's fault as they won't provide a sign! Not really a problem for us but the quirky, split stairs could be difficult for those less mobile, with short legs or after a bit too much port wine! Maybe need to confirm if they are all like that?

Review 4：The owner & other staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful & welcoming. The place exceeded our expectations of a B&B in a town like Guimaraes, which is up & coming but not on the main tourist trail. This place is world-class, modern, comfortable & quirky. Loved the split-level apartment-a shame we were there only 1 night. Exceptional and very complete breakfast. Just a bit expensive for accommodation in Portugal but within the reach of foreign visitors.

Review 6：Great place , really well located excellent service , one of the best hotels I have ever visit ! Even though we arrived later than it was expected someone was there not only to proceed with the check in but also to welcome us and give information about the town . I also liked that I was asked from the previous day about the breakfast so that it was exactly what I choose and with an excellent quality.

Review 7：The hotel was in a beautiful old house which had been restored but with a modern twist. Everything about it was very stylish and tasteful and we loved the seating area of our room. Breakfast was cooked to order and was fantastic.

Review 8：There was nothing that we didn't like. My only suggestion might be to place another mirror somewhere in the room. We had two rooms, one that overlooked the garden and one on the street. Although they were both beautiful, the bathrooms are a bit small and when two of us were trying to get ready in the morning it would have been nice to have another mirror.

Review 9：Amazing!! Casa do Juncal was beautiful. The location cannot be beat. Mario and the girls that served breakfast write professional and very friendly. The rooms were beautifully decorated and super clean. We loved it!

Review 12：Access by car not that easy - the parking some streets further especially on the moment of arrival and if you have quite some luggage. But this is something which becomes less important from the moment you experience the advantage of being immediatly in the historic center combined with the for free and safe parking accommodation. So not a real issue.

The hosts were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Breakfast was very tasty and beautifully presented. There is a wide range of items on the menu. Definitely the place to stay!

Perfectly located with shops, restaurants and history outside your door. Free parking nearby. Breakfast each morning was delicious with an array of items to choose from and the accommodations were immaculate and very comfortable. Best stay that we've had in Portugal and top of the list of places in which we've stayed around the world. Thank you!
