Reviews for EMAJ Boutique Hotel
Review 1:The infrastructure in the rooms in not quite right. For example, the bathroom did not have a door and the double twin room was small.
Review 2:Personnel was wonderful, very helpful and nice.
Review 3:Our shower had a draining issue and the bathroom got flooded. But we changed rooms very quickly.
Review 4:We loved the location, close to everything you need to see. The hotel was pretty and modern and the staff was very nice and helpful.
Review 5:Excellent hotel! Great location, great room, very clean, excellent breakfast, great customer service, especially Jose, who speaks great English and is extremely helpful! Very, very happy with this hotel!!
Review 6:We arrived to a parking fiasco. The room they showed us that was supposed to be bigger in the new wing was a tiny cubicle with small windows looking out at a brick wall. It stank of cigarettes. After major unpleasantries, we were upgraded.
Review 7:The upgraded room was much better. Too bad for the difficult reception. The woman working was doing her best, but the situation was very unpleasant. Too many details to include here...
Review 8:would have preferred a door between bedroom and bathroom but new modern designs??
Review 9:Excellent location, beautiful building in town centre, tastefully renovated to accommodate its new role as a hotel. Helpful staff, nice breakfast, got parking in nearby street
Review 10:There was some moderate noise from the centralised ventilation/air cond., which we've got stopped by a simple call to the reception desk.
Review 11:We found the hotel very centrally located, ideal to explore the old city. Behind a historic facade, the interior is very modern. The staff was very friendly. Our room (206) was spacious, with a clean and bright bathroom. Breakfast is freshly prepared with all what you need. Parking space in the hotel is very limited, but in the streets nearby there are loading/unloading bays where free parking is tolerated from the evening to 8:30h in the morning.
Review 12:The hotel did not have a bar, or anywhere to relax, but there are plenty of places nearby. If driving, would probably not use this hotel because car parking is a problem, but to be fair, the hotel information does say this.
Review 13:Staff very helpful. Car parking is on-street at the side of the hotel on a very narrow road.
Review 14:Limited parking space. The size of the room is small, with a not so nice view of the interior courtyard which meant that the room was somber.
Review 15:A very nice boutique hotel. Nice staff. Good breakfast. The modern style of the hotel, particularly the breakfast room. Nice bathroom.
Review 16:window/open concept bathroom. I understand design but privacy is sometimes a thing not to underjudge
Review 17:Very elegant and design hotel. Staff friendly and trustworthy
Review 18:Parking can be difficult.
Review 19:Directly in the center of the beautiful town, the EMAJ she is a wonderful stay. The breakfast is delightful, the staff are wonderful, and the only drawback can be the parking. It is an easy to get around city, with lots of delightful streets that are picturesque.
Review 20:Maybe they should have an agreement with the parking spots in the surroundings, in order to facilitate the parking. But this is not an issue, just a sugestion.
Review 21:It was a complete experience, from the confort to the staff, it has everything we should find in a hotel. Great breakfast also.
Review 22:Entrance not easily accessible - stairs too high, no ramp for suitcases or for handicaps, no elevator to the first floor. No protection for the water from the shower, which floods the bathroom, making it very slippery and dangerous. Assets in the bathroom not well organized.
Review 23:Staff was helpful. Bed and pillows were good. Good bar. Good central location. Good breakfast.
Review 24:Only a monsoon shower, no alternative, nor a shower cap. So when the cold water emptied on you, therewas no avoiding it. Again another new hotel where it is style over substance; about the third I've stayed in over last 6 weeks. I think they'll get sorted - nice mob and they wanted my input. In spades?!
Review 25:This place had only just opened. I fell into the reception. had great fun doing so.
Review 26:A bit noisy Duvet was too hot, and the only other option was a sheet, which was not warm enough. Need to have a blanket or a thin duvet for summer. TV in room had very restricted channels. For this price should have wider selection in rooms No computers available for internet No handles on the cupboard doors
