Review 1：For me, nothing. It is a pity that you can not any more travel there by speed boat.

Review 2：Comfortable, well furnished and nicely arranged room with harbour view. Rich breakfast. Old town and centre nearby at easily walking distance.

Review 3：On the waterfront, this property has rooms with a splendid outlook and small protected patio. The associated 2 restaurants both served wholesome Norwegian dishes, and the snack bar was in the lobby area. The hotel is right in the shopping precinct.

Review 4：Why is it that European hotels can not provide a kettle in every room like they do in the UK. To be able to have a coffee or tea in the room cannot be too much to ask for!.

Review 7：This was an excellent hotel to stay at, considering how expensive Norway is this was value for money. Clean and well maintained hotel excellent breakfast! The best buffet breakfast variety I have ever seen!

Review 8：The people next to our balcony room were extremely noisy as was the dj in the cafe downstairs. We complained but could only be moved to a standard room. It was very dull with a duvet that was too small for the bed and a headboard that was too small for the bed. The lights were in the wrong place over the bed as your head knocked them when sitting up. The staff did not seem to care about their customers - when arriving there was no warmth or giving you information about the hotel or the area. There was a film festival on which was why there was the noise from the dj but they could have put a warning about the extra noise that weekend. We were told that customers were entitled to play music in their rooms but surely not so loud that it upset other customers? Then the last night the people next our new room woke us at 4am with many people in their room all talking loudly. In both cases after complaining there was no apology from the management and we were made to feel in the wrong.

Review 18：I was accommodated in room much smaller than I booked. On my immediate complaint I was moved to larger one. Although the receptionist knew I came by car, she didn't informe me that the parking doesn't belong to the hotel and I should buy a ticket (signes were in Norwegian only) It resulted with a fine almost equal to accommodation price. I wanted to complain in written on that person but her identity wasn't revealed to me. Manager with whom I spoke wasn't any helpful.

Review 19：We requested a room with view and we did not get it, despite the hotel was not full. On the contrary, we got a room in the back with a nice view to a concrete wall and a parking place. Staff can advice to people that parking is free on the streets over night.

Review 22：NAUSTET SPISERI, the restaurant located in the hotel, was excellent! Wonderful service, lovely restaurant, and some of the best seafood we have had in years.

Review 28：A good option if you're travelling by car as there is a car park next to the hotel which you don't have to pay for overnight. It's well situated near the restaurants and shops. Breakfast is fantastic and comes with a view of the river.

Review 86：Everything! The room was brilliant, large size, clean and tidy, with all amenities. Can't rate the breakfast highly enough, absolutely amazing. Thank you!

Review 87：Poor Wi-fi that worked now and then. Tv channels where terrible, all in Danish speaking language. English talking movies on TV1000 had no text in my language. The room got really warm and when I turned down the temperature nothing happend. Outside the room there was lots of noice from cars and traffic. Also staff throwing bottles away early in the morning that woke me up.

Review 89：1.Room very small - too small for the 2 chairs in it. 2.Shower went from cool to very hot and back to cool constantly throughout our showers. 3.Very loud music from the piano bar downstairs, which went on from 11pm to about 5am! 4.No cooling airconditioner in the room, so we kept the door open to get the heat out, but had to close it again because of the noise from downstairs. 5. Droning hum next to our room which went on for about 5 minutes and then off for 5 minutes, throughout the night. 6.No plug power socket next to the Left side of the bed.

Review 91：A Wel designed modern hotel with a good location on the waterfront, in the town. Picturesque views over the water and beyond with everything around town accessible on foot. Front desk staff very helpful. Variety of good foods available at breakfast. Bar and restaurant also overlook the water.

Review 92：Old fashioned blue bathroom with very worn facilities in room- old metal clothes cabinet in bedroom. In bathroom there were chipped tiles and cracked ceiling tiles, holes under sink, very dirty grouting between tiles and especually the sink & taps. Generally it was old worn and out of date.

Review 94：We were extremely disappointed by the size of the room. It really is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The linen and towels provided were only for one person proving that the room is usually used as a single and really was only suitable for a single traveller. When we queried this at reception we were told we had to pay more money for a bigger room. The rooms are standard with no atmosphere and just basic décor etc. We had a great time in Haugesund but the room was what you'd expect from a budget roadside hotel.
