Review 1：This was a great place to stop and break the trip between Auckland and Wellington. The facilities were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was everything we needed for an overnight stay. And a real bonus was that they allow pets and were very welcoming to our two Jack Russells. We would happily stay again.

Review 41：The reception was very friendly and helpful information was given. Equipment could be switched off to improve our comfort. Restaurant across the street.

Review 44：The location was good with access to Tongariro Nat Park and a host of local walks. The country setting and spaciousness of the property. The helpfulness of the hosts.

Review 45：We booked for 2 nights and had to leave earlier. While it is their perfect right to charge for the 2nd night which we didn't stay, they could have been a bit more accommodating. The cottage itself and furniture look a bit tired. We won't stay here again.

Review 49：We were travelling as an extended family and it was great to able to use the bbq and table outside. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable and the noise was negligible given the closeness of the main highway. There was a great park nearby that the children could use. All excellent for a stopover or stay touring the area.

Reception advised me to contact your custumer service and alter the dates, which I did. On arrivel I was talled that they did not hear from you and I had to pay the full amount.Out of pocket by abit 300.00 dollars.

Review 58：Our three nights at Settlers were an amazing stay with very helpful and super friendly hosts. We have gotten a lot of tipps from the owners what to do in the area. Also they had ideas and help for other things we needed - absolutely great! The apartments itself were very clean and well equipped - all you need in a vacation. Thank you!

Review 60：Staff were excellent and advised us on the activities and attractions around Turangi. The walks, thermal pools and chairlift to the ski fields, all recommended by Helen, complete with maps, were beyond description. The facilities were nice and clean. The spa was an added bonus.

Review 70：We arrived pretty late as when the kids finished school, then we left, and asked staff if we could maybe leave by elevenish or so since i had a little one. But no we could not. Also the spa time was about 8.30 the latest u could sit and the next day 2.30 you could go in. There was no way for kids to enjoy the spa in the night or early morning before we left, cos we had to go by 10.00. we were there to at least relax in the spa pool when it was provided by the timing went wrong. Also the stairs are bit steep, but hey we got to look out for the kids as parents. Thanks a lot.

Review 73：after settling in the managers were very nice. daughter was sick 1st night and they were very understanding about all the extra linen to be washed. Also made a card and slices for daughters 9th birthday which was a lovely gesture.

Review 74：Domestic hot water cylindar for large room but there was a sign up pointing it out so no shock showers, just short ones.

Review 75：We were just passing through on the way to snow and had intended staying closer to the mountain but am very pleased we stayed in Turangi instead. The extra space and comfort at Settlers was worth a slightly longer drive to the snow in the morning and the value was fantastic. Helen was very welcoming and helpful, would happily stay again, and like to spend more time in the area.

Review 77：I didnt get to jump into the Motels spa because we were exhausted fromthe trip down and arrived late afternoon and had grumpy children whowere hungry next time I will make it to the spa!!

Review 78：1) Staff friendly & generous offered assistance outside of the Motel I.e; local site seeing, skiing or outdoor activities local pools.2) Motel is on state hwy1 & handy to main township. we left on sat.but enjoyed the small market where locals where selling their homemade pickles, jams and other wares etc..the vegetarian organic pizza was interesting cooked in the market the vendor makes her toppings from homegrown veges etc..and grew her own wheat that produced the flour she uses to make the pizza base. 3) we hired a 3 bedroom unit, it was beautiful, warm, clean and had plenty of space, my grandchildren and youngest daughter enjoyed themselves thoroughly and thought they were going to live there in the "flash house"!! and were very sad to leave, my partner and daughter in law also enjoyed the conveniences of the shower, kitchen, stove, fridge and of course Sky T.V to watch the Rugby that night. I would book this unit at this motel again when i travel back to Turangi next month. What a wonderful place..I highly recommend a stay there...

Review 79：Bed a bit old and saggy/dippy. Shower also old and 'thin' in terms of water volume. Basin damaged.

We were given a cot and baby bath without even asking. Bbqfacilites and a private spa for free too. Kids swings and trampoline.The nicest touch was they had the Irish flag flying high upon ourarrival. I've stayed in alot of places before and that's neverhappened.aircon and heater in house too.

The unit was incredibly comfortable and clean. If you're looking for value for money, this motel is perfect.

Review 101：Was warm during winter month of July. Close to other restaurants and New World. Motel didn't have fan or heater in bathroom/toilet so lino was cold on feet, so take slippers. Beds were well maintained and clean towels provided. Owners were helpful, but strict about 10am leaving time.

Review 102：Lock on the entrance to our room was faulty, there was an old car key on the key ring to open the door with. I tried the key to my car in the door and it opened! When the neighbourhood dogs barked at 3am I was scared. There was no secondary lock on the door to make us secure. A bit of a worry with young children.
