Review 1：The hotel is next to Anbo but it takes a while to get to the port/center (about a 20 min walk by foot in one direction, 25 min if you don't rush).

Review 2：The staff was super friendly and caring (e.g. helped us a lot to rent a car). The rooms offer ample space and the bus stop is close by. We enjoyed our breakfast every day (very fresh and delicious). A big plus was the optional bento box for lunch (~700 yen) - perfect for hiking during the day!

Review 3：The hotel was great, but there's not much in Anbo. Consider staying in Miyanoura if you intend relying on public transport.

Review 4：Customer service was excellent. If you intend to use the hotel as a base for hiking, make sure to complete a schedule and hand it in to the front desk the day before - I was late back one day due to coming off a trail late and the hotel, concerned for my safety ant out a search party to make sure I was safe; I missed the last bus and a member of staff intercepted me hiking back to the hotel and gave me a lift back!

Review 5：If you don't rent a car, you may feel uncomfortable. It takes 10~15 minutes walk to from Anbo-port to the hotel where is a hill. Not having a driver licence, I used bus. If I had rented a car, I would have give perfect score to the hotel.

Review 6：All staff(reservation, restaurant etc) are very kind. If you need to lunch-box for climbing Jomonsugi at very early time, you can request take-off breakfast & lunch. There are bus stop and mini supermarket near the hotel. Meal(breakfast and dinner) are delicious. Room is comfortable, wide(while general Japanese hotel room are small) and clean. Public bath and hot stone spa are good for relieving after hard climbing!

Review 7：First things first: the very friendly, heartly staff. This was one of the main reasons why we did chose this hotel again. It's the perfect Japanese service combined with very charming and positive attitude of the staff beeing there for us for whatever needed. We had a traditional room with futons and a simply perfect sight onto the sea. The delicious japanese breakfast (and dinner) can be enjoyed also with a great view onto the sea. The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the airport and can be reached easily by local bus - or by rental car (parking is available). If you are going for a hike, the hotel provides you not only with all the necessary information (or the address of the tourist information), the will prepare a bento for breakfast or lunch if desired. We will come back for sure - it was again, a big pleasure!!

Review 8：The location is wonderful because it's so serene and quiet. The downside is that it's a little far from the main cities. But if you need close access to Anbo or Miyanoura simply take a bus. The bus stop is quick walk away.

Review 9：On the base of a mountain, by a huge stream. Hiro-san is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He personally picked me up from the Onsen after the buses had stopped and gave good recommendations. Clean, cozy.

Review 10：big and clean tatami-mat room with view on a lovely garden and the sea, very helpful and super friendly staff - this is the biggest plus of the hotel! They prepared a lunchbox for us for our hike to the mountains - at 4 a.m! The pubic bath and the coin laundry are convenient too. Near the hotel is a small convenient store and a great restaurant (try the sushi)

Review 19：Beautiful sea view and a nice garden. Very good restaurant (Japanese food) and café. Walking distance to Anbo harbour (20-25 min) and bus to Yakusuki Land. There is no beach close by but it was the perfect location for us since we used the harbour for a one day trip to Tanegashima and took the bus to Yakusuki Land. We also rented a car in Anbo for one day to drive around the island and see the beaches.

Review 20：Very disappointing to be honest. and very bad experience there... Though this is named as a "hotel", it doesn't provide any air ticket service. Nor is there any ground transportation service like shuttle bus or limousine or taxi... we encountered an power outage for hours one evening during our stay. Though this itself was possibly not hotel's fault, their performance/response after that was terribly a mass. we got no idea about what was happening till we called their front desk. We got no food or water for that hours. Cold and hungry... till we went to their shop from our room in heavy rain with our kid. Why didn't they just provide some bread/noodle to room?! I don't know if they have any idea about customer first... the lunch box was poor. we have stayed in other hotels in this island which can all provide much better ones. And finally, the public bath room has only warm water instead of hot spring... I will consider other hotel next time.

Review 21：We haven't been to Yakushima before, that's why we didn'tknow what location would be best. Now we know that we would havepreferred to stay closer to the very nice beaches the island has aroundIsso. But if you want to go hiking, the Green hotel location is veryconvenient. The public transportation at the island is really a pain,buses can only be used until 17.00 and the drive very infrequent.

Review 22：We had a room with view onto the Chinese sea. It was really nice. Therewas a big pot of cold Team in the fridge everyday which we enjoyed alot. We had breakfast included which was very nice Japanese stylebreakfast with a variety of 7 different dishes right at you table andyoghurt, toast and pancakes available at the buffet.
