Review 1：Owner was very friendly and helpful. Even though the road was a difficult drive, once there it was fine. The parking was right outside the apartment which was great. The kitchen facility was good but more plates and bowls would have been better. We were eating out so it didn't matter. We had a lovely time. Would go back.
Review 2：Very poor value for money. 135 euro a night with an extra mail saying bedlinen and towels imply an extra charge of euro 7 per person. Simultaneously: our room was like walking into an outback barn with dingy furniture and a bad smelling sewer. The sunny side: plunging into the nice pool once you've found your way up the hill on a narrow and crooky pathway.
Review 3：I can see how the location would be difficult for some foreign travellers. You need a car to get there, and the roads are very twisty and narrow. I am a confident driver and I enjoy the challenge so this wasn't a problem for me, but the three girls I was with said they could never do the drive themselves.
Review 4：The owner, Nicola, made this an amazing experience for us. We were welcomed like family. The view is fantastic, and Nicola cooked for us on Sunday. Probably the best spaghetti I have ever had. The rooms and balcony are huge and parking is easy and free. We were happy to give Nicola a great first impression of Canadian travellers.
Review 5：The location isn`t the greatest. You have to drive on narrow roads up the hill. There aren`t any restaurants around so you have to drive to get to the city center. It was very hot when we stayed there and without air condition it was hard to get any sleep. The beds were a bit too hard.

Review 7：The road leading from the town centre to Villagio del Sole is like running the gauntlet. If you like formula one then you'll love it. If on the other hand you are a safe normal driver be prepared to have your stomach churning with the bends and narrowness. I would also say that in general the Ventimiglia folk are clueless about customer service. In fact it doesn't exist in the town in most places so be prepared for utter rudeness when you venture into that particular town.
Review 8：The best asset here is Nicola and his beautiful family. The views are spectacular and the kitchen is very well equipped in an apartment with ample space and light. Stock up with food and plan to stay a few weeks in this laid back gem.

Bed linen and towels are charged EUR 7 per person. You should inform Villaggio del Sole at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the cost will be charged.In order to reach the property, guests must drive along a narrow uphill road for 1.9 miles. Guests are advised to bring a vehicle as the property is not serviced by public transport.Please note that the bar and swimming pool are open from 21 March until 22 September.Please note that full payment of the booked stay is due on arrival.
