Review 1：No safety deposit box when listed as amenity. Would have preferred location closer to train station but walkable with luggage.
Review 2：Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Nice onsen. Easy access to visit Konpira.
Review 3：Our room smelled a bit of smoke, even though we were on the non-smoking floor. It's probably a remnant of former business hotel days when non-smoking rooms were less in demand. While it still smells, the odour is not too pungent.
Review 4：From the outside the hotel looks rather run down, but inside it is actually quite nice. The check-in was smooth, the staff was very helpful and we could choose between a Japanese or a Western style breakfast at check-in (breakfast was included; they have pictures of the respective breakfast). Our twin room was spacious and clean. The spa/hot spring is rather small, but it's nice. It's on the hotter side (~41°C) of hot springs though, so some people might want to be careful/not soak too long. The hotel is in a very good location to climb up to Konpira-san. The Japanese breakfast was very good. They will store your luggage before check-in and after check-out time.
Review 5：Location is close walking distance to both the Shrine & the train station. The staff were very kind & professional. My husband became ill during our trip & the front counter staff arranged for us to stay a couple of extra days in the same room. It was during a busy weekend so it took some effort for them to do that. We were very appreciative
