Review 1：Short time for breakfast and quite expensive for services (you have to make your own bed, you have not towels). Early check out.

Review 2：Very pleasant room with access to the garden. Very beautiful common spaces. Excellent for travelling with teen agers. Excellent the service of bike renting.

Review 3：The bed sheets were like plastic, very sweaty... When we had some fun at night behind te hotel, security came to send us away because of people complaining about the noise we made. When actually there was a group of people screaming and shouting on the other side of the forest and we didn't even make a sound

Review 4：Easy to find, clean, free parking

Review 5：Actually forgot to lock a 1500euro Brompton Bicycle on a Saturday night in their bicycle parking area and was there in the morning. They have a great security camera and would consider it an extremely safe area!

Review 6：There was no wifi in our room. Some of the other guests were yelling in the middle of the night, waking us up. Be aware that this is a standard low-cost place requesting extra fee for pretty much everything, including. Local taxes (2.5 EUR), towel (4 EUR, I'm not sure). No soap. This is not the fault of the hostel, but the island in general is grossly overpriced. Why would spend my vacation on a cold beach when I can get better for less? Texel is even isolated and offers little. You should know, den Burg is not even close to the shore.

Review 7：The place is a reasonably-priced youth hostel with all basic facilities. It is fine for a short visit. We were on a concert and just needed it for one night. It's on the edge of the village, but common, it's a village, there are no distances. Breakfast was alright. Service was fast and professional. Mattresses were comfortable, the place in general is simple and tidy.

Review 8：We booked a double room and got a 6 bed room instead. The extra space was good but no double bed was available, only bunk beds. When we asked to change (we stayed for 5 nights) the only answer was that they were fully booked and couldn't do anything about it.

Review 9：Common spaces, breakfast and atmosphere. Location is excellent both for bycicle routes and for Den Burg city centre.

Review 43：It is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop, easy to find. We arrived at 9:30 pm, the reception was opened and they could even arrange a reservation at a (great) restaurant near there, for that night. The room was large (2 bunk beds with lamps), the bathroom completely clean, the windows soundproof. The other day we rent there four bikes (cheap for all the day) and went to Ecomare (30 min), crossed the island trough nice farms and reached the Maritime Museum. In 30 min. we were back again! Ah! The breakfast! Do you believe the make their own bread? Nice ham and cheese, some fruits, boiled eggs and lots of smiles from the staff. I want to go back to Texel to stay OK again.

Review 44：Absolutely everything: from the friendly helpful staff, to the interior design, the facilities, the comfort, the breakfast room/restaurant, the reading table, the available information, sports area outside, the patio, you name it we were very , very impressed with it all. Would love to go again.

Review 49：The hallways smelled so bad. It seemed it need some ventilation because it had a moldy smell to it. There were HUNDREDS of school kids everywhere because many schools have camps that stay there. So the whole place was loud everyday with the kids running around and screaming.

Review 54：We had new roommates every night of our three-day stay at Stayokay, but it's a price to pay for such affordable accommodation. The hostel is very popular with families with kids, so be prepared to lots of children running around and playing online games on public computers for hours. Said by a person who doesn't have children. If you have kids though, it's a very friendly environment for them.

Review 55：Great hostel for a short budget trip to Texel. Its location in De Burg, the island's central town, makes it perfect to explore the island by bike (they have their own bike rental service btw). The rooms are small yet comfortable and clean, every room has its own bathroom. Breakfast is included in the price, it was quite rich and diverse.

Review 56：No - I was waked up from at 4am from a group of people from the front room. They know to our door and the ringed the door bell several times. All the confusion lasted for more than 1 hour without anyone letting it spot.

Review 61：Ik heb erg genoten van de overnachting in stay okay. De hostel zag ermooi en netjes uit de kamers waren ook mooi schoon en het ontbijt waslekker. Het personeel was ook erg vriendelijk.. Super hostel voor als je1a2 nachtjes in stay okay wil slapen..

Review 62：The only thing I didn't like about the hostel was the lack of soap inthe bathrooms. As we did not count on that, a good friend of mine who iscompletely normal and not retarded at all had to shower usingtoothpaste. He got a fresh feeling in his crotch though.

Review 64：The plastic matress was sweaty. The air conditioning was on to provide 'fresh air' to t he room but just made a draught in the room when sleeping. I was not very impressed with our welcome as the reception staff seemed bored and not forthcoming with informaiton. This place would benefit from a few simple, cheap changes. Access to hot water to make hot drinks or for a flask would be very useful. We arrived late in the afternoon but were told that it was too late to have dinner as it had to be ordered before arrival.

Review 65：The kitchen / breakfast staff: CHRISTABEL and SANDRA were EXCELLENT! We got more information and help from Christabel than either of the reception staff. She was just brilliant! If it wasn't for her the stay would have been very disappointing.
