Review 1：Great location, right in the heart of the town. Lovely helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was just about the best I've every had on my travels!

BUT there was an entertainer musician performing, he was so very loud we decided not to eat there. Our personal choice but after driving 500km this would have been too overpowering

The room was large enough for two people and a cat, it had two single and 1 double bed with plenty of walking area. There was a small hallway leading to a large bathroom with bath, separate shower cabinet and a WC with its own door, a double sink. It was beautiful. Review 11：Breakfast is great and staff were lovely. It is as close as you can get to the centre of town and although there was a festival on we had no noise issues. Secure parking on hotel premises is also a bonus

Review 12：A bit of street noise on the night we arrived but we had the window open because we didn't realize there was AC, and there had been a hail storm that night so emergency vehicles driving around.

Great location on interesting cobblestone main street with lots of shopping, other restaurants, ice cream, access to train (short walk) ... everything. Note there is AC even though it isn't listed on the summary. This was a big worry but it is a very good AC.

Review 14：We had a family room but it didn't look like what we expected in thepictures. I was extremely disappointed with it actually. We did thebooking here and we stated we are a family of four but we only receiveda small sofa chair as a bed (one person). We didn't get charged forit. It appeared as though the family rooms were at the back so as to notannoy other guests. Our area was not as nice as the other guests who hadthe lovely luxiorious photo areas but as a family, you get placed in anextension of the hotel. We were given a heavy key and non-families had amodern card reader. I fgound this ratehr discriminatory as we paid moremoney for less luxury. Not fair. My wifi kept on dropping out and I hadto constantly log in again.

Review 85：Hotel "Goldeness Lamm" is lovely place in Villach with excellent position. Stuff is very polite and kind, and food in hotel restaurant is tasty. We also like that in restaurant you can taste some exotic dish like banana soup with chilli. Rooms are decorated in traditional style, but clean, and comfortable. If you are a smoker, good thing is that you can chose between smoke, or not smoke room. We are pleased with everything and our stay was nice witdout any disappointment.

Review 96：The Goldenes Lamm is located in the historic city center of Villach. Facilities are beautifully maintained but somewhat dated. Service and staff are excellent and the breakfast is very good. Overall, the hotel provides excellent value for the money.

Review 97：There is smoking allowed in the bar area but you need to walk through it to get to the breakfast. In addition the smoke gets out into the lobby area and also guests smoke in the guest rooms as you can detect it walking down the hallways. This, our only personal disappointment.

Review 98：The location right on the Drau river! We loved the cruise up and back, a 2 hour trip as they stop along the way as people wave from shore for a pick up. Was interesting watching the maneuvers of the ship with the river going at such a fast pace. Also it is right on the main square and everything of note is right within walking distance. Breakfast pretty good.
