Review 1：The owner was grumpy and not to friendly when the hotel got busier - the first day they didn't make our beds and I wasn't to happy about that - but the breakfast was amazing and the bed so comfortable - but climbing the stairs to the family room was too scary and I didn't enjoy that - the window in the room was broken so we couldn't have fresh air and I hated that Not worth the price

Review 5：The hotel is on an excellent location, a great point of departure for, for instance, trips on the bicycle in beautiful south/west Friesland. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the food is great. In short, the hotel is a place to feel at home and to return to.

Review 14：I may be prejudiced (my grandfather was born in Workum) but we loved the food, the friendliness, the central location, the beds, and, of course, the town.
Review 15：our rooms were in the attic up extremely steep stairs and no assistance for luggage. Rooms small & stuffy and in the room for one, one bed had not been changed since previous occupant. Obviously the restaurant was a higher priority.

Review 17：Unfortunately we had a room above the kitchen so there was no quiet time(even though I had specifically asked for a quiet room) until late anight. City taxes, though mentioned, were only added to the final billand not to the initial booking.
