Review 1：too expensive...the city and timing i guess...but this hostel was the cheapest at that time

Review 3：EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!Location:It's within 5 minutes' walk from the main railway station!Room:I lived in a single room on the top floor and it was splendid! Totally worth the price (I can understand that it's a bit expensive because it's Christmas)! Very beautifully decorated, with towels, shower gel, a basin, and a big wardrobe. I even didn't want to go out to travel! It looked just like home!Service:The couples hosting the pension are sooooooo nice and helpful! (BTW, it was so convenient that they speak Chinese so that we could communicate perfectly in our mother tongue.) They helped pointing out about the tourist spots and how to go to these places from the pension; provided us with great breakfast and customised drinks, be it hot chocolate, tea, coffee, juice or anything you like; they're more than happy to look at your luggage before you can check in. I have never met such a nice couple before!The most touching thing:I got up at 5 on the day to check out because I had to catch the train to go to Munich. So I had to wake them up at 6 in the morning, when it was still deep dark outside. The man got up and opened the door for me with pleasure and gave me a bag of breakfast. When I opened the backage on the train, I was nearly moved to tears! There was a boiled egg, two nicely wrapped sandwiches with ham and cheese, one big pear, one small pack of orange juice, several pieces of napkin, and even one Salzburg special Mozart chocolate!. I had been seeing the Mozart chocolates in every souvenir shops in Vienna and Salzburg but I thought they were too expensive so I didn't buy them anywhere. But the moment I saw the chocolate in my breakfast package, it felt like it was from my mom or dad, for it was as considerate and sweet as families! I regret that I didn't open the breakfast package earlier. I didn't even have a chance to say thank you!
Review 4：Stayed in mid November, hotel was undergoing renovation in the hallways/stairs - workmen started at 8.30am.
Review 5：Very close to train station. Clean and comfortable room with washbasin. 2 shared showers (1 large, 1 small) and 2 toilets on the 3rd floor, no problems with waiting. Given map and lots of information regarding tourist sights. Good breakfast. Good WiFi.

Review 7：The staff is very polite. We had parking space for our car. The room was very clean and the heating very good. The breakfast is not amazing, but it includes all the basics: marmalade, eggs, ham, cheese, butter, coffee, tea, juice... The internet connection is perfect.. We enjoyed our staying in this place.

Review 16：The lady at the reception is very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Made us feel at home. She seems to know all the city attractions at the fingertips, plus which bus to take, or toward which directions. The hotel is very basic but she made all the difference to us. Excellent location within 5 minute's walk from Salzburg Hbf train and bus station. 3 minutes to a small shopping mall. Lot's of eateries and fast food joints nearby. I would highly recommend this to other travelers.
Review 17：i arrived soon. i asked for coffee/brunch, the manager said yes you can have breakfast. nothing about its cost since the breakfast was included. as a vegge i only had a half cup if tea and an egg. the next day in chek out the nanager asked me for the brunch fee.i said as a genious custmer of booking.com in almost all over the world when i arrived soon i offered coffee/breakfast when it is included.the manager said this should be true but in stared hotels and not his pension. maube i should pay for wc and water used prior official chek in time!! anyway i agreed to pay and he denied to accept the paiment. i give the pension good mark since i think the manager as an expert hotel manager knows what is going in all hotels over the world but that morning he may be angry from other side and other thing

Review 23：We stayed in the room with shared bathroom and toilet, which was what I booked for though I was not aware it was on the 4th floor with no lift. Some may find that a bit of struggle with luggages. There was no kettle in the room but one can be borrowed from the reception.
Review 24：As we were planning to take the train early next morning, the close proximity to the train station was great. The receptionist was fantastic, introduced us to Salzburg and explained to us in great details how to take buses into Germany (borders were closed with no trains running). Room was clean, simple and sufficient.

Review 29：The owner was friendly and nice. Told them that our room had weak wifi signal, they gave us a wifi extender for us to get better signal and it worked very well. Also, there was one morning when we had to checkout of the hotel early in the morning at 6:30am. The owner was really kind and prepared breakfast for us to takeaway. There were 2 sandwiches, an apple and a packet of orange juice for each of us. We had a good stay and really appreciated the service provided. :]
Review 30：Not close at all to the tourist locations in the old town. About a 12 min walk to the Mirabelle Gardens, but a bus ride required to visit the Mozart area and fortress. Once we figured out the bus system, it was easy to get around. Not a whole lot of restaurants around the area as well. If you're there just to visit the old town, you should look at an option there.

The room is very clean and lovely. Their staff are diverse in cultures, speaking German, English, Chinese and possibly more languages.

Review 79：Everything! Location is super good, just 3mins walk from the train station. I stayed for two nights in a single room with shared bathroom. My room is very clean and tidy, and so is the toilet. Wifi signal is good in the room. Breakfast room is tastefully decorated. The owner is very friendly and hepful and is very kind to allow me to store my luggage there for three days during my trip to Hallstatt and St Wolfgang. I would defintely stay here again if I visit Salzburg next time!

It looks a little dull from the outside, but inside the hotel is well maintained. Rooms are big enough, especially the family rooms. Bed was comfortable, bathrooms clean and tidy. All basic amenities available. Breakfast was plenty, though we did miss having some warm breakfast options. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. wifi is excellent.

Review 102：Close to the old center, we walked to the old center and their were so many thongs to see on the walk. Also the train and bus stop is 2 blocks away if you get tired. Wwe went in nid April so it was cool so we left the window closed, as it was cold out, around 55f degrees. We still could hear street noise but we were so tired from sightseeing we had no trouble falling asleep.

It was about 2 minutes' walk from the train station and 10 minutes into the centre. I'm fussy about cleanliness and was pleased with the whole place - even the stairs. Breakfast was great (typical cereal, eggs, bread, cheese etc.). We left our suitcases for the day after checking out. We have absolutely no complaints about our stay. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was really good - eggs, coffee etc. Owners were extremely helpful & quick to respond - cannot fault them. Close to main station. 20-25 min walk to centre along the river which provided spectacular views of the alps and centre. Highly recommend.
