Review 1：It's close during the winter but why still let everyone booking ??!!? I booked but it was closed so I have to spend another couple hours to find another one.
Review 2：before the check-in time (midday) I could not find anyone in the reception in order to at least leave the luggage, put on the swimming trunks and head to the beach. the hostel is good, but once I arrived at Zamami I noticed there are many others which are not included in hostelworld. I would suggest not to book any one in advanced and check them out once you are in Zamami.

Review 14：Just in small zamamiv illage. I just stayed 1 night.Cuz of my journey. It was good. Ac work at night. Wasnt feel hot at all. Shower place s okay. Staffs were nice. Atmosphere is so calm not much loud.
Review 15：I had many insect bites on my body. I think it was bed bugs. There wasn't even shampoo, body foam or conditioner provided. The whole place was very messy and doesn't look very clean. The private room floor was very sandy and I saw insect crawling around. We didn't have much choice because all the other accomodation on the island was full. I paid 3000 yen per person. It was very reasonable but I would really pay more for better accommodation else where on the island. The owners really need a good overhaul of this place.

Review 20：The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is good, near the port and all shops and restaurants. It takes 20 minutes by foot to go to Furuzamami beach, but you can find a shuttle or a taxi. We rented a car and it made our lives a lot more easier. The zamamia burgers they serve are very good and homemade. We had a private room which had comfy beds and AC.

Review 23：It was dirty. The beds and room were full of hairs and dust, the floor was dusty and dirty as well. In the morning a family started shouting from 7am, so it was impossible to sleep, the owner didn't care. Wouldn't go back.

Review 27：When the July typhoons hit Zamami island, the owner left us and his hostel to his young employees whom he had hired a couple of weeks before.. There were water leaks everywhere and we were left by ourselves... Pretty shameful...

Review 29：Great central location in the town, near to the local stores. It's easy to get to the two main beaches on foot. Very friendly atmosphere and the burgers are great. A.C is good and the showers are powerful.

Review 34：I made the reservation randomly, honestly it was the last available bed in all of Zamami. Luckily, it turned it to be awesome. The owner Paul is a solid dude, tough exterior but a heart of gold. Really dig the vibe, super comfortable beds in the dorm room. I stayed in a ton of Japanese hostels and this one was the best. The bunk beds don't shake when your neighbor gets in, huge plus. There's also an excellent burger restaurant located in the hostel. The wifi is lightning fast, 500 yen frosty mug Orion beer. Kickass front deck with BBQ. Overall this place made my trip to Zamami epic.

Review 42：Such a great atmosphere, with a very welcoming staff. Traveling alone, Zamamia was the perfect place for me to stay because of a very social atmosphere, with BBQ's and mivies on rainy days. The staff was good at including and inviting new guests to the beach, for dinner etc. The beds in the dorm are new and clean.
