Review 1：you get what you pay for, but the room was a little small for two messy people. if it rains activities are limited but this is obviously not specific to the house
Review 2：excellent staff. accommodating to foreigners but "authentic" experience. felt more like a loving host family. they did everything they could to make us welcome. great location and fairly cheap.

Review 4：We had a really good time in Zamami island. The Yadokari family is so nice and cool! The house is very near to the beach. The food is very delicious, and we have everything we need. Since it was Christmas, we had the chance to join in a family party and even got Christmas gifts from the hosts.
Review 5：Though a bit further walk (and pitch dark) at night, if going to town, restaurants or furuzamami beach. Getting up for breakfast so early was hard for me, but was good to then get up and make the most of the day! Would have preferred more private shower and toilets, but was not a big problem.

Review 8：The guest house is located just a few steps away from beautiful beach. Cozy and clean rooms in traditional Japanese style. Futon bed was quite comfortable to lay on. Wi-Fi worked pretty well. Extremely friendly and helpful owners.

Review 10：The couple running the guesthouse are so sweet and hospitable. Our stay was really welcoming. I highly recommend visiting Yadokari if you want to feel at home away from home. We were able to do everything we wanted from Ama beach even though it's not in the city center of Zamami.
Review 11：The junction turning into the place is a little confusing (missed it the first time passing there). Shower is outside and there are only partitions between shower heads (effectively only one person/group can go in for a given time, not sure if this would pose a problem since not many people during my stay)
Review 12：I love this place! Staff are very friendly (fast response on enquiries before arriving too). The place is clean and comfortable. I had dinner there and food was great! My second time sleeping on futon and this was a lot better than the last I had. It took about 20 minutes on foot from ferry port but no complaint on that since the view was great (transport is provided upon request too)
Review 13：it is unfortunate that Zamami and Aka are islands that do not allowed certified divers to rent their own tanks and explore at their own will

Review 29：The hostel is 20 minutes walk from the port. So renting a bike or car at the port then ride to the hostel is suggested. The host can also offer pick up service if you contact her before the stay. Not many restaurants nearby so reserving breakfast at the hostel is recommended.
Review 30：The host is such a lovely lady. She doesn't speak good English, but she is really friendly and helpful. She makes language barrier not a problem! It is just 5 minute walk from the Ama beach. Me and my friends have such a pleasant stay that we feel sad leaving. The toilets are shared but the facilities are very clean and tidy. Definitely recommended!!
