Just a 5-minute walk from Zamami Port, Pension Takatsuki provides simple rooms with large windows, an LCD satellite TV and an en suite bathroom. Okinawan cuisine and an on-site diving shop are featured. Free WiFi is available in the lobby.
Guests can try a Japanese room with futon beds on tatami (woven-straw) flooring, or can sleep in a Western-style bed. All rooms are air-conditioned, with a fridge and a bath with amenities.
You can relax on the shaded terrace. Free-use washing machines and outdoor showers are provided. During January and March, whale watching tours can be arranged upon request at an additional fee.
Okinawan-style dishes made with local vegetables and fish are served for breakfast and dinner. An advance reservation is needed for meals.

Review 2：Free use of the accommodation until return ferry departs. Integrated service of accommodation and whale-watching by common management of Pension Takatsuki and Diving NO-Y.
Review 3：Not a bad thing for hotel. Take into account there is only one supermarket in Zamami town so you may want to buy some special need from Naha before board the ferry to Zamami. However, we had a great stay in Zamami.

Review 5：No hot water from 22.00 to 07.00 not advised in booking..during 5 nights spent they never cleaned the room neither took garbage. Toilet bad smell...they don't speak english at all to give suggestions about anything..

Review 7：We stayed for one night and enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is basic but very clean. The staff speak a little english, certainly enough to get by. They were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good although we wanted a later eating time and it wasn't possible.
Review 8：Staffs are very friendly and helpful! The meals offered from Pension Takatsuki are very delicious. The sun deck was a bonus! Its location is close to the only grocery store and to all restaurants and rentals in town. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying there.

Review 19：The rooms are typically small and two single beds were provided for coupes. We were not picked up at the Ferry terminal, even though our arrival time was emailed in advance, nor were we driven back to the terminal. Other Japanese guests were.
Review 20：The pension is located in the center of the small village of Zamami. A quiet location across from an elementary school. There's a large area downstairs for guests to mingle and gather around and to have breakfast (which was very good).

Review 24：Nice staff. They're always willing to help you and speak good English. The common room has a good vibe. There is a roof terrace and you can sit outside on the porch. The location is perfect, near all restaurants and shops in the village. You can use the washing machine in the hotel and you can make tea and coffee. I love the island Zamami, it's great for relaxing, hiking around the island, snorkling and of course see the whales.

Review 26：Everything was at least adequate and staff were pleasant and unobtrusive. Ensutie bathroom small but well designed, and main room reasonably spacious. Was quiet when we stayed. Easy walk to shop/restaurant/bike hire

Review 28：Pension Takatsuki was wonderful! The location was great, just a few minutes from where the ferry drops you off and only a 15-20 min walk to both of the main beaches. And you are surrounded by restaurants and places to have a drink. The staff were excellent. Enough English to help us with all our queries! And when we left the island and realized a passport was still in the room they organised for it to be delivered to us on the next island over by a boat driver. Amaing service, above and beyond our expectations. We will be back!
