Review 8：This hotel has two building one opposite to the lake but old and other building where i booked deluxe room with the lake view was disappointed to me, I found no direct view and little bit far from lake, and they offered to me to go to the other building which facing the lake but when I went there i found it very old and old carpet and furniture, also I have comment on the WIFI it's awful and weak.

The room was large and clean; decor was very nice and functional. Location was incredibly beautiful and convenient- ferry in front of the hotel, Milan 1 hr driving, downtown Como 15 mins driving, Foxtown outlets 25 mins. The ispace spa was amazing- better than many 5 star hotel spas we have used. Extensive relaxation facilities (salt room, sauna, steam room, and much more) in addition to the spa services. Food quality was very good in the imperial restaurant and room service (best room service we've ever had). Very comfy bed.

Review 25：Second restaurant not available to guests not with a large tour group. Had to ask twice to be allowed to have a merlin the bar area. Staff at odds - eventually allowed to. Room booked late so overlooked side road and parking area. Ask for Lake view. Site very tight. Nothing in village apart from two other small restaurants/cafe. Road divides the hotel and the leisure area - pool. This by the boat station so on view from boats as they come in.

Several things also : the electric carafe was not working, a light in the bath room was burned out, only 2 towels were provided the first day. For the price of the hotel, I would not recommend it.

Review 32：THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL ON THE SHORES OF THE LAKE WAS SUPERB WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. THE FERRY STOP WAS MOST CONVENIENT NEXT TO THE HOTEL. WE ALSO HAD THREE EXCELLENT MEALS IN THE "GRAND HOTEL IMPERIALE RESTAURANT". STAFF IN THE HOTEL WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. ALTHOUGH WE DIDN'T HAVE A LAKE VIEW ROOM THE BEDROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS WITH EXCELLENT FACILITIES.

Review 33：The rooms are run down and could do with a make over. The beds were uncomfortable. We booked a quadruple room which in theory should be bigger, they just shoved two extra beds in a normal 19sqm room.....we got done over.......!

Review 34：Great location, away from the hustle of Como and the bigger towns. There are a few nice little restaurants around. The pool is great. The hotel is beautiful.

Review 44：Beautiful breakfast, lovely garden, pool area & prximity to the lake. Air conditioned rooms, selection of restaurants internally & close by, 10-15 minutes from Como. We had a lovely lakeside open air dinner at Imperialino which is part of the hotel but just across the road right on the lake. It was beautiful in the summer evening near the water with several passing boats & the dusk bringing love ts of twinkling lights across the water.

Review 47：Entire hotel smelling a bit filthy. A light switch was broken, we had it dark in front of our closet for the entire stay. Although we reported it to the reception desk twice, it did not get fixed. We were not given another room, nor a discount or apology whatsoever. Staff seemed kind of bored with their job. Disappointing guest service. We tried to like the hotel but staff made our stay sort of negative.

Review 62：we booked 3 rooms, two with a lake view and one with a garden view, to our surprise one of the lake view rooms had the trees outside hiding the view completely, what was more annoying was the A/C units in the two rooms that were hardly working and the hotel had to bring fans into the rooms, so it was not worth paying much extra for the lake view rooms which was not there, and the poor A/C system in these two rooms. the room with the garden view had an excellent A/C system.

Review 71：We were very disappointed not to be able to get a booking at the lakeside restaurant, Imperialino, due to the lady not understanding our request and we can only assume she did not fully understand English as we discovered when later coming home that the restaurant was not fully booked at all, in fact quite empty.

Review 72：Really enjoyed this special venue in Moltrasio which is a charming village on Lake Como. The restaurant choices in this village are limited to 2 in the hotel and 2 outside of the hotel, but for our 3 night stay, we found this to be a perfect location - not busy like Ballagio and yet easily accessible to all locations on the lake. The staff were very responsive to any need and all in all, it was a very comfortable stay.

Though it was very delicious and fresh, we thought the breakfast buffet was quite expensive, especially if you do not eat a lot. We would have been happy with a coffee and pastry option or fruit and cereal for the children.

Review 74：The staff was SO friendly and helpful, which is most important to us. Their perfect English made a huge difference in making us feel welcome and comfortable. The location and amenities could not have been better. Our family had such a great time and enjoyed every moment of our stay and we are already planning our next stay. The pool was a favorite for our children.

Review 77：Booked a room described as a "lake view" and paid extra for it. When you drew back the bedroom curtains you couldn't see the lake straight in front, just the garden area and another part of the hotel straight opposite. You could see a bit of the lake looking at a 45 degree angle from the window but much of it was obscured by another building and it was at least 100 m away. It certainly wasn't a view where you could sit and watch the boats go by - you could hardly see them. Took it up with the reception staff but they said you could see the lake from the room and were not going to do anything about it.

Staff were friendly and help full, spa was great, breakfast was exceptional and dinner was even better with views across the lake. Review 106：Being used to spas in Asia, my daughters did not appreciate that the spaservices here were only for adults. In our corner room the wifi signalwas not strong so to be able to get wifi we had to stand out in thehallway or the lobby. Wish parking had been free for hotel guests.

It was almost 2 hours by boat to get to Bellagio, but the day pass is the way to go, there is a Ferry stop in front of the hotel. We has pizza on the shore in front of the hotel. Review 116：The day we arrived there was a big wedding so to be fair I think the staff were a bit overwhelmed. However, the hotel should be "geared" up to accomadate and to accomadate the wedding we couldn't get a booking I dyne gourmet resteraunt until 9, it took until 9.30 for someone to take our food order, no problem as the setting is beautiful and we thought we had plenty of time! Not so when at 10.10 I ordered the cheese platter before desert I wa told the kitchen was closed, again the hotel management should have thought ahead and extended the kitchen opening times, or we should have been warned that our gourmet dinner would have to be eaten very, very fast. Overall quite a few of the staff has a laisse faire attitude, but the lady at the pool bar stood out for being singularly unhelpful - all disappointing perhaps the hotel feels the stunning location makes up for all of this - we didn't!

Review 117：The location is beautiful and the boat stop just outside the hotel, nice couple of bars and resteraunt nearby, so in terms of location overall excellent. the hotel is smart in an old worlde charm way and the breakfast wonderful especially if you get to sit in the garden and it is included in your room rate, if not at 20 Euros each it's expensive.

Review 135：We reserved a table via booking.com for the lakeside restuarant on the evening of our arrival (confirmed) but the reservation had not been made by the hotel; when we insisted a table was found. Both hotel restuarants close on Monday so there is no where to eat lunch. Hotel suggested we find something in town!
