The elevation makes the views from the hotel spectacular with views of Menton and Monaco in the distance, Food is outstanding, plenty of choice for breakfast with Ligurian classics for dinner, Two pools , a small one for younger kids which my son loved and a deeper pool with slides, The Seaview suite was huge, my son loved having his own room and a large area to sunbathe and relax outside the suite.

Review 27：Unlike what the Booking pictures suggested, everything was ugly and ill-assorted. The floor is the ugliest tile I had ever seen. The manager explained that the place hadn't been done over for 51 years and it showed. The toilet didn't flush properly. And the inside of the hotel is just hideous. We'd spent one night at the Eva Beach Hotel on the seafront which was 30 euros less (also a Bookong 3-star) and it was fabulous with huge rooms and a private beach. I don't understand where these guys got their 3-stars came from? To be fair, when I expressed this to the manager, he offered that we return and stay in the suite at half-price, but we just really don't want to go back there. For the record, he was very gracious.

Review 48：I wished there was a shuttle service when I arrived as I had to wait nearly an hour for a taxi at the station. However, the owner so kindly took me to and back from the station the next day just so that I could buy my ticket, and I really appreciate this service!!

And there are so many spots (even view terraces for everyone) where one can enjoy the view for free, not like some of the top hotels on Cote D'Azur where those spots come with very high prices!!! The family team of the staff were so attentive and warm that I felt like I was staying in an inn run by my own relatives!! The restaurant is the oldest in town, and the quality of food was excellent. Particularly, their Spaghetti Vongole and the Bruschetta was the best I ever had in my life!! I wish I could stay longer to taste everything on their menu..!!!

The views are unbelievable & once there the we delighted in the atmosphere & charm of this hotel & we relaxed in & around the pool all afternoon, before enjoying a delicious meal in the restaurant. Our suite was well furnished, the bed comfortable with lovely quality linen the bathroom very modern & spotless. Highly recommend that you stay here for a memorable experience!

The food at the restaurant is excellent and I would highly recommend the spaghetti with lobster. The staff were all very helpful. If you want a truly special place in Italy that is not too touristy this is for you
