Reviews for Samsung Motel

Review 1:minor n likely the normal practice here but great if motel can issue receipts.

Review 2:Just across the road from the Sokcho express bus terminal. 2 min walk n bus stop to soreaksan. 3 min walk to sokcho beach.

Review 3:nothing

Review 4:comfortable room, big tv, free toiletories superb wifi very near to bus express station walking distance to beach near convenience store owner cant speak english but try hard to help us if we need something. i love u ahjumma and ahjussi

Review 5:The staff can't speak english even a little. We need to explain very hard when we were getting to check in. But no problem, however they are very helpful

Review 6:The room was clean, have a big space, have a heater that very helpful because the weather was cold. The most important thing, it's close to the express bus terminal and bus stop to mt. Seorak.

Review 7:The room is come with refrigerator, it's good but no microwave in the room or in the motel. It is better if they can provide microwave too.

Review 8:The room is quite big. Good futon bed. Complete with TV and 'make up table'. Bathroom is good as well, I love the idea of the bathroom is a bit separate from the area to sleep, but it still in the room, private bathroom. Clean. The owner is very helpful even though they can't speak English, they are willing to help. You can take a bus to mount soerak only in front of the motel. its very easy. also near to bus terminal.

Review 9:That area not many people can speak english. To take bus from Seoul to this hotel, you must travel via Express bus Terminal. Or else you will stuck at local bus terminal which is very far from this hotel. We have stuck at the local bus terminal area for roughly 2 hours. luckily there are kind enough korean to tell us where to get taxi. When we were there, there is autumn festival there whereby it is very hard to get a taxi.

Review 10:Location is good. very near to local bus stop and express bus terminal. owner can't speak english. However, they are very friendly and trying their best to tell us what they mean or answer our question.

Review 11:The hotel staff didn't speak any English (but that didn't cause me any problems). The room was not cleaned every day, which I actually prefer but some might not. The room was decked out like a teen girl K-pop fan's bedroom, with stylized floor to ceiling pictures of sassy cartoon girls holding martini glasses with butterfly wings, if my memory serves me; not exactly my thing, but harmless. There was no shower curtain, but this seems to be a normal thing in Korea. Towels were tiny, and there were no sheets on the bed when I got there. The room was hot (due to heating system, not weather), but there was a fan which made it ok. I had some friends staying at a nearby hotel who got a lot more class for an additional $20/night, and I was sort of wishing I'd done the same.

Review 12:The staff seemed pleasant, there were no problems with the reservation I was charged the price that I saw online. The location is great, right near the express bus terminal, so it's very easy to get to from Seoul. The room was small-ish, but had all of the essentials, including TV, wifi, computer, mini-fridge, microwave, and tea kettle. The local bus to Seoraksan Park (the 7 or 7-1) stops right out in front of the hotel (more or less), which was nice. Not a luxury stay, but the price was good and though it was a little quirky, I had a good stay.

Review 13:The towels were too small, but changed Daily. Lack of bed matress thick enough to make the bed comfortable (used the bedspread (folded) which made the bed nicer.

Review 14:Location Close to Bus station, beach, restaurants, shops etc

Review 15:I did not like that it was as expensive as it was for an older hotel and that the manager kept bothering us to ask us about how many people were sleeping in our rooms. Then tried to triple charge us when we said more people would be coming.

Review 16:The hotel was very close to the beach and the inter-city bus terminal. It was easy to find as its on a major street and also near food, the e-Mart grocery store and a jjimjilbang (sauna).

Review 17:Got smell of kitchen/somebody cooking in the bathroom.

Review 18:Location

Review 19:Very close to Spkcho beach
