Review 1：Friendly place to stay and hiking the National Park. Great friendly staff and good breakfast in the morning. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The bed was may be a bit hard but I prefer that so it was really nice!

Review 2：There is no elevator. You need to carry your beg all the way to 2nd floor.

Review 3：The location of the guesthouse is really near to Sokcho Bus Terminal. Just make sure to find the local Bus Terminal and not the Express Bus terminal. Sokcho famous Abai Village is also walking distance. You can stop at the fish port and eat fresh fish. The gueshouse is very spacious. We rent a 4bed-room.

Review 4：Very good guesthouse, easy to find with a good location (very close to the inter city bus terminal so easy to get to the national park / 15 mn from fishmarket to have lunch). Very clean and cumfortable, you get everything you need (hairdryer, towel..) and the dorms are great. Amazing breakfast and really friendly staff to give you all indications needed. I definitely recommand it!

Review 5：Stay somewhere else. Prices are different depending the site, I over paid and the manager didn't care. No mattress, just a hard mat ,commons areas no heat at all and now is below 0...so good luck if you stay there.

Overall Mr. Egg House Sokcho is one of the pleasant stay during our 10 day trip to South Korea.

Review 25：Sam (the host) is very friendly and helpful. The place is near to the bus station, fish market and connected to a convenience store. It's clean, got hot water and floor heater. The common room is vey well decorated and you can do all kinds of activities there like playing piano, reading, play board games and many other things. Highly recommended.

Review 30：Unfortunately our nights sleep wasn't too good. The beds are very hard and for westerners with back problems, this was very uncomfortable. I would love to return to this hotel if they can provide a softer bed and perhaps a chair or two in the room as there was nothing to sit on in the room.

Review 31：This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and the facilities for younger children are great. It's in a good location with easy transport to the national park. I would totally recommend this, but be warned the beds are very hard! The breakfast was good with a nice choice of great eggs.

Review 39：No secure place to put belongings in rooms. There are lockers but no wayto lock them. There are also no locks to the room doors and staff arenot always at the front desk but they leave the front door open. Someonewalked straight up and into my room one evening and just decided he wassleeping there without even checking in!! It was a bit scary thatsomeone could do that...I Didn't feel very safe after that and hadtrouble sleeping because of it. Mattress was very hard. Like sleeping ona wooden board but this has been the norm in most Korean hostelsI've stayed in so far.

Review 40：Guesthouse itself was great. Friendly, helpful staff, big rooms and anamazing breakfast with fresh filter coffee, juices, cereal, toast andeggs. Very modern and clean and only a few minutes away from theintercity bus station and the bus to go to Seoraksan.

Review 77：I unfortunately encountered severe food poisoning from eating something at the nearby market and the staff here was incredible. The incredibly compassionate gentleman working brought me jook (rice porridge) and medicine to ease my stomach pains. Regularly checking up on me and offering to take me to the hospital. It can be extremely difficult being sick alone but I was comforted by the kindness at this hostel.

Review 79：Poor insulation against the winter, despite floor heater turned on to 30deg (but this is my first hostel stay, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like so..) Bedsheets seemed a little dirty, just a little. Bedrooms are at the 3rd floor, no elevator, so not recommended for older travellers who can't climb 3 flights of stairs.

Review 80：Breakfast was provided, and the lady cooked for us toast with egg. Probably the best breakfast provided. There was no elevator in the building, but the staff carried our luggages worth 20kg+++ up to the 3rd floor. Toilet and room was pretty clean

Review 81：- It's took few minutes for water to become warm. - It's near the bus station but not most of the tourist attractions. They are too far to walk, too cold to ride bikes so there was only one choice left which is taxi and it would cost too much.

We went there earlier than the check in time, the staff took great care of us and hurriedly clean our room :) - The colour is very cheerful!

Just next to Sokcho intercity bus terminal, a lot of attraction nearby within walking distance, you can also rent a bike from the guesthouse to tour around if you are not so much of a walker. Bus to Mt.Seoraksan is just 3mins walk away from the guesthouse. Clean, tidy and spacious. The bed is kind of hard, for me is not a problem, I am not so picky on the mattress. But I guess it is standard across Korea unless you stay at hotel. Still it is a very comfortable stay. Will definitely come back next time if i visit again.

Review 94：Poor internet connection. No elevator. The rooms are located on the 3rd floor. Not good for the elderly and those who are carrying heavy luggage.They are not flexible when it comes to check-in time and breakfast time unlike most of the guesthouses that we stayed in. So if you arrive beyond the check-in time of 2 pm to 10 pm, you have to wait somewhere. Breakfast is strictly at 8 am. You can not have breakfast earlier.

Review 96：We stayed 2 nite and regreted we dont check the weather before. We couldnt go up to mt Seorak because of rain and storm on 2nd day. We couldnt change our booking because of strict policy of this hotel. So be sure to check weather forcast before book the hotel. Beware of noisy neighbour, bring your ear plug.

Review 97：This hotel is near to intercity bus terminal, just less than 5 minute straight walk to the intersection on the left. Room is simple and basic but very clean. If you need anything, there is 7eleven at the same building. Breakfast is generous and kitchen you can use to cook your own meals or bring your food to eat at big dining room. Wifi is good here.

Review 98：The staff were friendly and helpful, and will assist in cooking eggs if you look clueless around the kitchen :) One or two of them are also conversant in English and will recommend/give directions if you've run out of ideas on what to see in Sokcho and Soraksan. There's also a piano in the breakfast area for guests who wish to relax with music. I had a very enjoyable stay there!

So we didn't look for the luxury, comfort, etc. The hotels near the Nat. park are quite expensive, so we choose a hostel within the city and next to the bus station. Distance to the park is around 40 min by bus (1500won) or 15 min by taxi (15000 won). The hostel' rooms are clean and new, Wifi is good.

Review 122：Well maintained property just next to the intercity bus terminal and on top of a 7/11. Dorm bed was basic, but clean. Hand towels and a hair dryer were provided. There was a little porch to our dorm which had a clothes rail (definitely came in handy after the beach!) and where shoes were left. The cooking facilities were amazing, and the spread left out for breakfast was brilliant. You make it yourself (toast, cereal, and eggs) but this was part of The fun.
