Review 1：The pool was full of mess from the trees, and the maintenance man wasn't at work for the rest of the day, so I offered to clean the surface of the pool so myself and other guests could have a swim. The rooms didn't match the online photos and were very tired, and the entire hotel was in need of desperate refurbishment. Breakfast in the morning took 35 minutes from time of order, all other guests who ordered after us received their orders, ate, and left before we got ours. All breakfasts ordered were complimentary bacon/sausages and eggs, so nothing different in our order. Appalling service.

Review 7：We would like to have chairs or sofas to relax and watching TV instead of lying on the beds. Second night, other guests who arrived late at night were quite noisy. My husband apparently couldn't sleep well because of different noises during the nights. Wifi was not available on the second night.

Review 8：Very reasonable rate including cooked breakfasts. There was a swimming pool. Unfortunately the water was too cold to swim. Cleaned and made bed both days. So very appreciated and felt nice and clean when we came back.. Very close to town: walking distance. Good volume and yummy cooked breakfasts.

Review 9：When looking at the Angus hotel on booking.com it looks fine. The rooms look super clean and tidy, the pool looks wonderful, the building itself looks good then when you arrive there it's the total opposite. I walked into our room after checking in and the smell of old, mouldy, musk filtered the room. The window frames/ranch slider are aluminium and they have mould all over them. The first night we spent at the hotel I woke up the next morning with bites on my legs. I felt dirty after I showered just overall our experience at the Angus hotel wasn't very pleasant. I will say breakfast and wifi were included - $120 per night. But wifi didn't stay connected more than 3 minutes and breakfast was very standard. I wouldn't call this a hotel but more a motel.

Review 51：The room was very old and in extremely poor condition, the carpet was stained badly, the bed was as hard as a rock. The bathroom was tacky. It's not the worse room I have ever stayed in but it was fairly close. I would not stay there again.

Review 59：I booked this motel nine months ago. We were given rooms on the other side of the pool - never saw it once. The room was shabby. Carpet stained but had been cleaned and smell was strong. Many things could have been replaced eg Old dirty, rusty tin rubbish bucket, curtain rail over bath for the shower was all rusted up. Taps didn't turn easily. Sheets old and wrinkly. Time to do this place up. Trucks which are parked outside start up early! IF you stay ask for a room on the pool side!

Review 61：I guess if you are fans of an authentic '70s or '80s retro dining experience complete with slow service, powdered potato this should be in the like column. The food was not good by modern standards and despite there only being six other diners it took over an hour to get our food. Go into town to eat.

Sleeping area - ceilings cracked, sheets & pillowcase all creased or not been changed, fridge made loud noise when it came on, door panel loose. Truck park right outside our patio door, coming & going all night & early in morning. Overgrown gardens around back.

We had to be on the road by then for a seminar. So they gave us bowls of fruit & white bread & a toaster to do it ourselves the next morning. Still had some over for the next morning - but lo & behold they had taken the damn toaster. Not happy

Review 75：The first room we got put in was filthy. The bed was full of hair, the bath had some kind of brown liquid in it and the floor had clearly not been vaccumed. We complained and got moved to a different room, which was slightly better. The 100's of fruitpickers were not a welcome sight. Every 2 mins we had a van load drive past our window. We had booked for two nights but left after one. Asked for a refund for the second night but they said no. Website is very decieving. This place is a dump. It was like staying in a refugee camp, with many hood wearing unfriendly faces. Not good when you have a 3 year old with you. I would absolutley NOT recommend this place to stay at.!!!!

Review 82：We got back to hotel late, the reception is closed, cant get wifi code. Free breakfast not enough for big eater like me. facilities are old looking Mentally thinking they aren't clean. The hotel sign is very hard to find, Covered by over grown tree leaves. I drove passed it all the time. feeling unsecured. Hotel rooms are not fenced against the Ruby field, where I see people walking or standing by unsure if they are thieves waiting for opportunities, i worried if we leave room they would break into our room. The introduction says we can exit the glass door and lock behind which is not true.

Review 84：The room was very old and dated and drab, the ranchslider lock looked dodgy, the bathroom had very bad repairs done over time and the flooring was in need of renewing, mould or something around the bath on the sealant, shower was like a high pressure hose!! We stayed at this hotel many years ago and it was great, so sad to see it now!

Review 101：The cost to stay at this hotel was very reasonable the cost included a daily cooked breakfast. We were able to bring our small dog on holiday which was a bonus. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We requested to be closer to my friends room who was also staying at this hotel, this request was actioned immediately. The kids loved the pool and free Wi-Fi Only five minutes walk to City Centre. Thank you Sue and your staff for a lovely stay.

Review 119：This hotel needs a huge upgrade,exterior paint is peeling and dirty, would have moved on but had prepaid. Bathroom floor needed a big scrub,cobwebs behind door and bed was like a trampoline, would not stay here again.
