Review 1：The first impression is about the correspondence via email, they replied quickly and very clearly. The location can't be reached by walking from Toba station but it was not the problem coz the hotel can pick us up at Toba station from 3pm-7pm by calling them from Information counter at the station. The counter will be closed at 05.30 pm but we asked the information staff to inform the hotel to pick us up around 06.30pm coz we would like to have dinner around the station first. By 06.30 the driver and another hotel staff came to pick us up, the staff named Takae jung is very nice and can speak english very well. It took less than 10 min to reach the hotel, it locates up on the hill so we can enjoy the sea view from our room. The room is quite big compared to the other hotel we have stayed. There is indoor and outdoor public bath on the basement floor, separated male and female. The outdoor hot bath in the cold weather is very enjoyable. The japanese style breakfast was delicious as well. My husband and i really had a nice stay here, though other staffs couldn't speak english but they still can provide the good service, the time we left they walked in front of the hotel and waited until we're gone. If we have a chance to visit Toba again, we definitely stay at this place.
Review 2：The onsen was OK in day light, but was a little spooky at night due to its large size. There was no security and on my own, as a female, in this very large and deserted onsen, I did not feel very safe. The hotel is clearly targeting large groups or large families rather than individuals.
Review 3：Despite the hotel being out of the way and the hotel clearly needing updating and refreshing, the staff made up for this. They were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, made the stay truly enjoyable as well as memorable. Our choice of hotel was also based on quality for money and we are not disappointed.
