Review 1:Nothing
Review 2:Some of the best service I've had anywhere. Amazing breakfast by certified vegetable chef. Very well thought out travel/site suggestions by their daughter. Facilities are clean and for Japan quite large.
Review 3:Nothing not to like
Review 4:Wonderful hosts who took care of all our needs, delicious breakfast prepared with lots of heart, the premises are very nice, tastefully furnished and decorated and clean, good location within walking distance to the train station area as well as the major sights and walking trails, and good wifi
Review 5:This was my best guesthouse experience ever! Everything was nice, tidy and clean in this Japanese-style house. Facilities were adequate, the shared bathroom was located as convenient as part of the room. The hosts were really nice and caring. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. I would definitely choose it when I visit Kamakura again!
Review 6:Absolutely wonderful hospitality. We ended up staying 3 nights instead of the original booking of one. The minshuku is a short walk from the train station and they drove us there after checking out. The western style breakfast was lovely. The entire establishment is very cosy with a cute garden. The futon was more comfortable than other places. Renting a towel is cheap, and we got free mineral water and our laundry done free of charge once during our stay. Even though the bathroom is shared, when possible to place guests apart it became private, but the solution is a nice and private one anyway. We really loved our stay and wished we could have stayed more - Kamakura is a lovely town, and also a very nice place as a Tokyo exploring base (about one hour commute with train)
Review 7:The breakfast was SUPERB!!! The room was quiet and nice with music on. The breakfast was fresh and coffee was hot, they even have olive oil and jam made by the owners! I couldn't be more happy about this place. It definitely gave me a great first impression of Kamakura, I hope to pay a visit again very soon. :) The room was huge and with tv and a bath tub.
Review 8:Everything. We have arrived in late evening and were greeted by Asako and Tomiko very warmly. The guesthouse is very cosy and intimate. It was so quite at night, which is important to me, as I am a light sleeper. The room and the shower was very very clean(even for my high standards). It looked like they thought about every little detail when it comes to rooms decore. Having a breakfast while overlooking a small Japanese garden outside was a great start of a day. The breakfast itself was excellent. Asako was very helpful with providing all the information we needed during our stay. When we checked out, Asako gave us a ride to the train station, which was very considerate. Bottom line, it was my second time in Japan and I can definitely say that it was the BEST place I stayed in. I definitely recommend staying at this amazing guesthouse.
Review 9:A wonderful place where you can enjoy a pure Japanese experience. Breakfast was fantastic, and even if there are some language problems with house keeper, her daughter Asako speaks English so everything was OK.
Review 10:Loved the mother/daughter team hosting us, they were very accommodating and the house/room were wonderful. It was furthermore the most comfortable futon mattress and the best breakfast of our trip to Japan! Beautiful garden. Good location: bus stop is close by, we once also walked to town, as well as to the beach.
Review 11:Love the breakfast so much! It is absolutely delicious and full of love! Although there is barrier of language, the host help me a lot. Kind and helpful staff. Lovely, quiet and tidy environment. Everything is prefect! :)
Review 12:I arrived much to early, exhausted, and got immediatly some refreshment. At next, rainy, morning the family offered me to bring me to the train station. Breakfast was brilliant, 7am on a Saturday morning. The house is purely japanese style at its best, tradional but technically best equipped with a wonderful garden to relax after a very long walk through this very interesting city. I wished I could stay there longer but my flight was at the next day. Best way for a European to experience the japanese private lifestyle.
Review 13:This B&B is lovely and the owners are really nice and helpful. I had a wonderful stay there. Perfect!
