Review 1：November is not the best time to visit Southern Italy. The smog is terrible with the traditional burning of garden waste. Add the exhaust fumes and it's almost unbearable. Not the hotel's fault, but they weren't sympathetic.

Review 2：Nice views from the balcony. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Also, the restaurant has an excellent dinner menu. Be sure to not overlook it.

Review 6：They have the right idea about how to treat a guest and the location is excellent. The walk to the city is very enjoyable ( ten minutes ) as well as scenic. Salvatore was extremely friendly and helpful with excellent advice on tours and restaurants. Stay at this hotel if you can, you won't regret it !

Review 20：This hotel made a welcome change from the modern hotels with their corridors of identical hutches, as it is a fantastic maze of corridors, lifts and staircases leading to rooms which I suspect are mostly different from each other. We were on the 7th floor which is the same as the bar and restaurant, and out corner room had two patio doors leading to a big balcony containing table and chairs and two sun loungers. The view was spectacular over Sorrento, Bay of Naples and right across to Vesuvious. The hotel staff were impeccably dressed and incredibly well mannered and helpful and made you feel very welcome. The hotel has a rooftop pool with poolside bar and also a terraced area with tables and chairs but unfortunately we couldn't use this as the weather was wet and windy. The only negative we found was the journey from the airport took about 75 minutes in a taxi (80 euro's) as the roads around Sorrento and surrounding towns are not at all modern and so bad for travelling but also good for seeing such a historical place kept as it has been for centuries.

The facilities in the hotel were excellent - we loved the many outside terraces and the bars, again with breath-taking views. The breakfast was very good, with a great selection of hot and cold items. Overall, a fantastic hotel!

Review 37：The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the views were stunning. There were heaps of power points to charge phones and cameras. The balcony was a great size. We wished we didn't have to leave!

Review 42：The hotel has a perfect location to sorrento. The staff made our stay very special. I emailed ahead our request for a higher floor which they had obviously taken note of and even upgraded us from a standard room to a suite.

Review 44：The location is just perfect for walking to Sorrento. The view from our room included the Bay of Naples, Sorrento, and Vesuvius. What could be better. The service in all aspects was brilliant. Would not hesitate to stay repeatedly. The hotel even upgraded us.

Review 45：We normally stay in small B&Bs, but chose this place for the location and view. We were not disappointed. But it is a large hotel that caters to tour groups, and during our three day visit, different groups cycled through. Easy enough to avoid most of the time (except at breakfast), but that kind of business tends to define how you get treated. Brusquely, and mostly very impersonally. But it was worth it for the view.

Review 46：The view - we paid for a deluxe room with a view and had a fabulous view of the bay, Vesuvius, Naples and Capri from our balcony, plus a view of Sorrento from our bathroom. It was a long way to room 905 in the new addition, but it was worth it. Room and bathroom were large, clean, comfortable and in great shape. Parking was easy and the location made it easy to wander Amalfi, or get out to Capri. Breakfast was good, again with a spectacular view, and the staff took good care of us, if with a somewhat supercilious attitude. Easy walk into town, but location on hillside to have that great view. Parking and service levels were good, too.

Review 48：There is no WIFI available in the hotel room; only public areas. The showerhead needed to be cleaned, and the complimentary coffee packets were missing. Dinner in the restaurant was a bit underwhelming; however, the staff were attentive.

Breakfast was tasty and I appreciate the variety of hot and cold items to choose from. An added plus is the amazing view from every single window of the hotel since it sits on an elevated road, facing the ocean. This hotel is a little off the beaten path yet everything was still within walking distance (shopping district, train station, marina piccolo, etc.) I highly recommend staying here! It's a great launching pad to explore Sorrento, Naples, Pompei and the Amalfi Coast!!!!!

Even though we stayed during their off season, we still thoroughly the surrounding areas (Positano, Capri, Napoli and Pompeii) which were made easy to reach given the hotels location. The room motif was white, and in the morning as I would wake up, the sun would stream into the room and it was like waking up in a cloud. This wasn't just any sea view..it was just beautiful being on a cliff overlooking Sorrento and the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the background. I had a huge balcony with a jacuzzi. I stayed in mid March, so I got a good off-season rate. The restaurant was good with a very friendly staff and of course, another great view. The room was also very large and very comfortable. I just can't describe how wonderful my stay was there.

It was mostly older couples and family but we happened to be there with some sort school trip that lasted our entire four night stay. Review 101：It was very loud in the morning, not sure if it was workers fixingthings in the hotel or other travelers. The place has a lot of tile soyou can hear every noise your nieghbor makes, someone walking down thehallway, or doors closing.
