Reviews for Hotel San Pedro Puebla

Review 1:Pour water pressure, water is not hot enough to enjoy the shower.

Review 2:Location is excellent, one block from Zocalo, the central square of the city. Rooms have balconies.

Review 3:The courtyard pool was beautiful; nice temperature but water was cloudy and the hot tub jets were broken.

Review 4:Very Close to zocalo so we could walk to sights and restaurants. Parking and breakfast included. Very affordable. Staff spoke English. Balcony with view of church towers. Enjoyed a quick morning dip in the pool.

Review 5:Bathrooms are tiny, faucets falling apart. Bedsheets smelled as they had not been washed or changed in days and beds and pillows were super hard as mattresses are not good.

Review 6:The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was great. Best location in the center of the city

Review 7:The staff on reception made us feel like a nuisance, they where more interested in talking amongst them selves and joking with each other. But the lovely man who helped us with the luggage was more than helpful. The first room was on ground level next to the pool, we asked to change rooms as the locks on the doors to the pool area where not secure and we didn't feel safe with all our luggage and gifts we had been traveling with for a month. The second room was great, clean and tidy. I would recommend staying here but request a upper level room.

Review 8:The location was fantastic, the breakfast was great and the staff in the hotel restaurant where lovely.

Review 9:My friend didnt like the bed because it hurt her back. Cable tv was awful but then again I didn't go to Mexico to watch tv.

Review 10:So much character and charm. Quiet yet right in the middle of everything. Very relaxing to relax and read and sip margaritas by the pool.

Review 11:WiFi was very slow and to get reception I needed to step to the patio. The reception was rude dint give me my breakfast tickets and remote control. But I took care of it over the phone.

Review 12:Good location and staff.. Room were very clean and service was overall good.I will be coming back..

Review 13:Beds were so hard. Breakfast experience was a little strange. We were only allowed a set menu on Sunday. But we were allowed the full buffet on Monday. Oh. 2.5 year old daughter had to pay for breakfast. 50 pesos.

Review 14:Location was great. Free valet parking. Live music for Sunday breakfast.

Review 15:My only suggestion would be to improve the quality of the WiFi service, as it can't reach the rooms. If you want to check your mail on your portable device, you have to stay at the reception area an still it is slow.

Review 16:We went to Puebla to spend some days after Christmas and stayed at Posada San Pedro. My sister had advised me about this hotel. It is very well located, just 2 blocks away from the Zocalo and Cathedral. The staff is very polite and friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are quite comfortable.

Review 17:The Old Mexico feeling of the hotel....the rooms had french doors opening to the little wrought iron balcony overlooking the courtyard/pool.Rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful!...1 block from Zocalo..had a great stay!

Review 18:we liked it all

Review 19:The room was lovely overlooking the pool, had a balcony, always cleaned each morning, breakfast was very good, location excellent, pool was lovely to use, great evening meal and reasonably priced.

Review 20:Beds are a little too firm for me, and air con was noisy.

Review 21:I liked the staff was friendly and courteous for the most part. Location right in downtown, within walking distance of most sight seen. Their breakfast was excellent with fast cordial service and live pleasant music group playing.

Review 22:Shower was tiny, not very good water pressure. I wish the pool was heated.

Review 23:Fantastic location just one block from the zocalo (main square). Nice room with good linens. Staff was very helpful and gracious.

Review 24:Too pricey for minimal accomodation. No information material in the room. reception staff non-smiling and slow to assist.

Review 25:Location

Review 26:Restaurant, front desk & valet parking

Review 27:The check out

Review 28:The hotel staff could not pay through booking.com system

Review 29:Very nice, local type hotel. Good location and parking place

Review 30:Parking was good, convenient and secure.

Review 31:No tables in dining room to eat breakfast because tour groups. Not right!! Beds are way to hard!

Review 32:Alejandro in the dining room. He was awesome!

Review 33:No wifi

Review 34:Location great WiFi terrible Breakfast ok

Review 35:Loud live music during breakfast, lots of noise during the night, very basic breakfast included in the price.

Review 36:Location, parking space, pool.

Review 37:The plan was to arrive mid-afternoon, but our bus was late, thus we didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool. We were not given instructions to the air conditioner remote and it accidentally came off the wall. We headed out to dinner and when we got back the realized the air conditioner did not work. Since it was midnight we decided to suck it up, we didn't want to make a complain and change rooms since we were only going to get 4 hrs of sleep to catch our plane. Both the hair drier and the iron did not work, which was a huge inconvenience at midnight. And to top it off the broken air conditioner made noise which made it hard to go to sleep. At check-out the counter guy seemed upset to hear my complains, and did not offer any compensation for our troubles. I must thank my amazing boyfriend for not complaining about the bad sleep.

Review 38:The location was great! The architecture is also nice. El hotel esta a una cuadra del centro, muy conveniente. La architectura del hotel es bonita.

Review 39:The pool water seemed a bit murky. A recommended tour guide turned out to be very grumpy about our poor Spanish, and he did not take us to all of our agreed (and paid for) locations. However, I don't think the tour guide works for the hotel necessarily. Just be cautious about signing up for a tour through the hotel.

Review 40:The staff were very friendly and helpful. The afternoon/evening desk clerk spoke excellent English and helped us figure things out several times. The hotel is very nice and the location is great. On our last morning, an impressive group performed live music for the breakfast crowd. Our room had French-doors opening to the courtyard, and it was very pleasant and convenient.

Review 41:the room we stayed had a wooden door to communicate with the next room - We had a big family next door with kids who were really noisy and of course we could hear everything through that flimsy door. The water in the pool looked gray. we were not given the tv control, we asked for it they promissed to take it to our room which never happened, at the end we have to picked up ourselves

Review 42:the location is convenient, close to the main plaza and some of the main highlights in the city. The breakfast inlcuded in the fare was ok

Review 43:Hotel did not have tourist information, i.e. map of the area. Getting an early start to the day, staff would not give us coffee to go at 6.50 a.m. although we were to receive continental breakfast. Were told to wait until 7.00 a.m.!

Review 44:Stately historic hotel, great location

Review 45:The bathroom needs renovation The continental breakfast was terrible. The bread was dry and tasteless

Review 46:The pool was terrific The room was spacious and well decorated. The staff were very pleasant The entertainment in the dining room over the week-end during breakfast made us really feel we were in Mexico

Review 47:The rooms are very cold and beds unconfortable. Breakfast is advertised as included but it is only complimentary. Thi is the kind of breakfast you find in youth hostels (stale bread+jam and coffee).

Review 48:The situation in the city center was optimal

Review 49:Keen services from waiter is aimed for tips. The arrangement of live music at breakfast time is not so appropriate.

Review 50:The interior of the hotel is nice, the breakfast is huge with good services by the waiter. Bed are comfortable and room are clean with good facilities, include hair dryer and iron.

Review 51:Rooms were old. Walls very thin you can hear everything from your next door neighbour (sneezing, talks). The bathroom makes a consistent noise and everyday they knock on your door at around 8.00 to ask you if you need anything... Also not all the staff were friendly.

Review 52:The location of the hotel was very good, near to several restaurants and el Zocalo.

Review 53:It didn't have a bar, but you could sit in the restaurant and order a drink. The staff I would rate as only average overall.

Review 54:Location was great. Couldn't have been closer to all the places I cared about. Restaurant quality was good. Room included an adequate-quality and hearty breakfast. Room was quiet and clean.

Review 55:The rooms were not sound-proof. My room's door had a wide space underneath so we could hear everything going on outside. The bathroom had a horrible smell the whole time. Like a sewer smell that was very intense. Our bed was quite small and very hard mattress.

Review 56:Location was the best part. One block from Puebla's zocalo square and most of the shopping areas. The breakfast was very nice, natural juice and eggs the way you want them.

Review 57:Location, and the overall appearance of the hotel

Review 58:The location is perfect.
