Reviews for Fattoria Di Corsignano

Review 1:This place doesn't have real Tuscan atmosphere rather strong focus on business and money collection from tourist. Poor, expensive breakfast where you have to pay extra even for coffee! Zero attention to clients except collecting the full advance money on the first day No cleaning in the room during the whole 9 days stay with 1 towel change on demand Very basic rooms w/t ac, 5 min walk away from rest and pool Wifi only around restaurant Unsupportive and not flexible reception Be ready for groups of tourists coming by bus almost every day for wine testing making noise around the pool for 2-3 houres

Review 2:Very good location in the heart of Chianti region, close to Sienna and all typical Tuscan small villages and hill wineries. Swimming pool during hot days was an excellent refreshment Quiet good restaurant with great desserts

Review 3:Pool towel charge of 3 euros. Wifi not working in our building.

Review 4:Picture perfect! It's beautiful. Incredible views. Wonderful views toward Siena. Very lovely terrace and grounds. Nice pool.

Review 5:Our stay would be more pleasant if there was an air-conditioned in the unit. It was too warm at night and ceiling fan was inadequate to keep up cool.

Review 6:Nice spot and good facilities.

Review 7:20 minutes mountain road drive away from Sienna but it was okay for us. No internet connection even after asked about it but again not a problem for us as we went there to rest. One weird thing was that you have to collect your trash and carry it out with you before your check out! Not a polite thing to do to your guests.

Review 8:View! Better than we expected. Feels like you're a true villager living in a country side. Not free but good breakfast with nice b'fast area. Didn't see many staff member but lady at the front desk was kind and breakfast server was very nice. Super good coffee and pastries for breakfast ($12 per person). The room was like an apartment. Very specious and very comfortable. It had a patio with table and chairs. Loved the kitchen! You can close the doors down and your kitchen disappears! Had a nice living room, too. Swimming pool was nice.

Review 9:This is a very quiet, tranquil setting for adults. Lots of "rules." Not family friendly. The master bedroom mattress needs replacement. Toiletries provided were extremely cheap and not appropriate for the price of the room.

Review 10:The location was fine in Chianti. We rented the Villa. It was nice.

Review 11:Parking was 400-500 metres away from the unit, and it was a long walk to laundry.

Review 12:Property is located in beautiful countryside, a few km out of Siena, charmingly quirky inside (found the kitchen inside a large cupboard), staff were friendly and helpful, enjoyed a meal at the restaurant.

Review 13:The bed was extremely uncomfortable but we were told they just got new mattresses so that should improve. A very helpful email went to my junk mail so we didn't find out until later that we would have to pay for heat or that we should follow specific directions in order not to get lost, which we did.

Review 14:The location and the house were lovely. They quickly changed the down covers upon my request due to an allergy.

Review 15:The wifi never worked, there was no hot water the first morning of our stay and it took more than an hour for someone to fix it for us. Our welcome wasnt very warm or enthusiastic and throughout our stay we didnt see the people from the photos- we hoped for an intimate family-style environment but we were definitely on our own. We bought a bottle of their wine blindly as we werent offered to taste them as we have at other agriturismos.

Review 16:The grounds seemed well maintained, and the overall appearance was nice and neat.

Review 17:The pool was not heated my glass blew over on an outside table I was charged 5 euros to replace. That wouldn't happen inmost places. So be aware but Andre the seller great and his tour.

Review 18:The views

Review 19:That we only stayed four days.

Review 20:This is that place you've dreamed of visiting when you think of Tuscany. Perched atop a hill with Sienna in the distance you'll relax on your patio as workers toil in the vineyards that drive this spot. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The apartment we had was authentic, comfortable and clean. Dine in the excellent restaurant there and better yet take a cooking course and tour the winery with the owner. Keep in mind this not a high end resort, rather a working wine and olive operation. But that's why you're going to Tuscany right? Great spot for touring the region.

Review 21:All good

Review 22:Location, size of room. Food and wine

Review 23:Great setting with fantastic hosts.

Review 24:location, authentic, clean and spaceous appartments and rooms, Wonderfull pool, delicious restaurant

Review 25:The cooking class went beyond our expectations and we would recommend taking it to anyone that has the pleasure of staying here!

Review 26:Almost everything

Review 27:Nothing at all

Review 28:I like i will be going back there often :)

Review 29:The pool wasn't heated and was freezing cold the time of year we went, early may. It is in the middle of nowhere really, which is great in one respect but if you don't have a car you are limited as a 4km walk to the nearest and very small supermarket.

Review 30:The apartments were really big and spacious. The decor was authentic and classic. Everything was clean and the bed so comfortable, which is hard to find on holiday: the view out of the bedroom window was breathtaking, overlooking the countryside and you could see siena in the distance. The staff were helpful and there was always someone around. The restaurant was by far the best part of staying at the fattoria and was amazing. The ambience was great. They served their homemade wine at 6 euro a bottle for white and it was lovely. Not for picky eaters as they couldn't quite explain the menu in English but the chef caters for all requirements if needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves the countryside, great people/service and great food.

Review 31:1. We reserved an independent villa for four persons. But they changed it to two double rooms because of the disorder of the heating system and promised us to change the room when the disorder would be fixed. But when we requested to change the room the next day they asked us tp pay moving charge. 2. They charge for heating(I think it's ridiculous for them to ask the heating charge, but anyway it''s the their policy) and the amount is not fixed but calculated by consumption base. The most ridiculous thing is, however, that they have only one heating gauge and it covers all 4 rooms in the building. Then how could they calculate the exact amount each room consume? 3. These people are not apt for the hospitality business. Their verbal and nonverbal language is so vulgar, it almost ruined our otherwise happy memories of Toscana.

Review 32:Nice view from the garden.

Review 33:5 miles from Siena so know this if you do not have a car. Taxis areavailable but must factor in the additional cost.

Review 34:Wonderful, helpful staff. Beautiful setting in the middle of a vineyardwith olive trees surrounding it. Liked the wine tasting event they hold.Apartment was very nice for 4 people.

Review 35:The Villa! It's very large with a full living room, kitchen, and twobeds/baths + outdoor space. The restaurant was also delicious.Slightly different each day, and everything made fresh. The staff werewarm, friendly, and highly accommodating to all our requests. Thelocation is close to Siena, but far enough away. There are other greatrestaurants in the area, and getting around by car is very easy.Although fully booked, the property never felt crowded.

Review 36:- Breakfast needs to have more options especially warm food (eg: eggs) - Since it's a remote location, the rooms need to include basic provisions like tea/ coffee, milk, bottled water, etc - The wine tasting would be better with tasting notes & pairing of snacks, rather than just a glass of wine

Review 37:Everything... The stay, the food, the wine, the folks, the location, the wine yard, the view! Its a little known treasure of awesome Tuscan dinners .... Fresh from the farm, customized to your palette, served with great own wines and at a very reasonable price

Review 38:We found nothing to wish for improving

Review 39:Incredible location, warm and genuine hosts, large room, peace, Quiet, pool. Everything was awesome.

Review 40:Having to dispose of the garbage away from the location.

Review 41:Authenticity

The Fine Print

Please note that the pool is open from May until September.
