The villa also has a private bathroom with free toiletries, equipped kitchenette and a private entrance. The villa has wide windows which allow for a panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean.
The self-catering property has an equipped kitchenette featuring all the necessary utensils to prepare meals. The centre of Calheta features a wide array of local restaurants, most serving typical Portuguese meals and regional Madeira dishes, along with the famed Madeira wine.
Guests can sunbathe in the landscaped garden, after a refreshing dip in the pool. The surrounding area features a wide number of hiking trails which guests are welcome to enjoy. A children’s playground is also available in the garden area, for the younger guests of the This Side of Paradise.
The property is a 10-minute drive from Calheta, which features a beach, marina and harbour, where guests can take in whale watching and dolphin watching tours. It is a 37-minute drive from the Funchal centre, which has a number of local shops, cafés, restaurants and a lively nighttime atmosphere.
This Side of Paradise is a 45-minute drive from The Madeira Airport.
