Review 1：The property was beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel has amazing food and the staff there was great as well!

Review 2：The restaurant was very good, excellent even, but a little cramped. Also it's quite a big hotel, so you lose a bit of charm along the way. There were lots of kids staying while we were there so that killed the romance a little, but it was school holidays so it's to be expected.

Review 3：Beautiful setting and loads of space, fantastic air conditioning and lovely shower. There are two pools, one of which didn't have any children because it is very deep, and also further away from the main building (so it was perfect for us because we wanted to hide!)

Review 5：the hotel & grounds were absolutely spectacular. restaurant was terrific, and had an outdoor area where you could dine and look at the stars in the Tuscan sky. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive.

Review 7：My wife and I stayed at Borgo Scopeto for three nights during our honeymoon in Tuscany and it was the most incredible hotel I've ever stayed in. The beautiful Tuscan countryside setting is idyllic and the building itself is stunning with beautiful furniture and fantastic architecture. The facilities were brilliant, and we made use of the spa, tennis courts and free bike hire. Staff were excellent, very friendly and knowledgable of the local area and history of the building. I couldn't fault the place.

Review 32：Borgo Scopeto is the sort of hidden gem one dreams of finding in the Tuscan countryside.A long driveway of towering cypresses lead to beautiful stone buildings surrounding an ancient tower. The tenuta has two swimmming pools set against glorious rolling hills with Siena nestled on the horizon. There is an excellent restaurant serving the owners wines from both Chianti and Brunello di Montepulciano. The service is five star and the spa is delightful with massages that were just about the best I ever experienced.My wife and I had a fabulous time. Michael New York

Review 33：Reception and restaurant staff were not personal 'friendly' (not impolite but right on the boarder, not what you would expect in an hotel of this class and price). The selection of wines on the menu (especially in the bar) were very poor! The waiters were not knowledgeable of their wines. No day menu. The serving staff were very dissorganized, with several waiters apearing to serve the same table. On one occasion our chosen main dish was served to another table and we were given theirs. Once we asked what the 'fish of the day' was and received different answers depending on the waiter. Wine served in plastic beakers by the swimming pool. Pool not heated.

Review 43：Fantastic place in the middle of Chianti countryside. Stylish andluxurious. Extremely nice and helpful staff. The ideal place for doingnothing but swimming in the one of two available swimming pools. On theother hand it gives you many other possibilities as biking, cycling,tennis etc.. It has its own spa with variety of treatments as well. Inaddition it produces its own wine, its own olive oil, its own grappa andhas its own line of cosmetics. All of them are of very good quality.Very good restaurant with modern cuisine however based on tuscantradition. Outstanding, indeed.
