Review 1：the house is 10 mins walk from the Meta main square/bus stop and 20 mins from the train station. However if you think of walking down the beach - forget about it - its a 40 min walk. The WiFi in the room is really weak and constantly without reach. You need to sit on the terrace in the front to get connected. And still was not fast enough :( If you are sensitive to car's horn, they will wake you up in the morning as the house is just at the main road to Positano, quite busy all day, especially during mornings (during the night it was OK). Since the road is really narrow the drivers use their horns to warn the other drivers coming from the opposite direction...
Review 2：We loved Stefania, who was really helpful in telling us where and how to go and what to see. We loved the garden, with table, lemon and orange trees! Although there is only one room with direct access to backyard garden, but there is a green terrace available also in the front. The patisserrie in front of the house was excellent! Good point for day trips to Naples, Pompei, Capri or Amalfi Coast, either by car or by public transport which is really good.
Review 3：The walk to the hotel was all uphill. However, the view from said hotel was definitely worth the hills!
Review 4：Stefania was wonderful. She helped us plan our days, gave us directions and helped us set up a day-long cruise. We even got to go on a tour of the city the last day for free! She made herself quite available to us, and gave us her phone number in case we needed it. She was really lovely! Also, her English was very impressive. In Italy, it's not always easy to tell if English is an option, but with Stefania it was simple! We highly recommend this hotel.
