Review 1：Too many kids running around and screaming unsupervised, even in restaurant there is a playeoom but parents let the fight and scream.... I say hotel staff should have reacted and ask to keep the bouse down..... Every night this was a problem!

Review 3：We didn´t like that the Wellnes Spa only was available without any type of clothes so we due to that didn´t use that. The Wifi conection was very slow.

Review 7：1.The sound of the old vacume cleaners 2.In the restaurant there is a small aquarium with a lonely/alive lobster in it that is continuously trying to scrach the glass walls of the aquarium to scape. I didn't find it humanistic. PLEASE MAKE IT FREE!

Review 9：In the booking it's states: ""Final cleaning fee included", however, the hotel still charges Eur 45,00 and refers to some fineprint at the end of the booking confirmation which states "Feel homey with a kitchen and a bathroom with bath and seperate shower. All apartments have a balcony. Cleaning costs are EUR 45.00 per stay; these costs are not automatically calculated in the total costs of your confirmation". That is very deceptive, feels unfair.

Review 11：It was really hot in the apartment (south side), and it was only April. We couldn't imagine what it would be in the summer.

Review 12：Location at the beach! And still close to everything. Great place to relax, to have nice walks at the beach and in the woods. Clean hotel - large enough. Very friendly staff.

Review 13：you have to pay extra for nespresso cups, only get 3 cups for your whole stay - instead renewal every day. BF buffet too limited, could use some extra's - treats (and no packaged boxes with condiments).

Review 25：The fact that it is right off the beach on the North Sea side and not the Waddenzee side. You can hear the waves pounding the shore. Big room and bathroom and enjoyed having a balcony to overlook the dunes and sea. The food at the restaurant was good so you did not have to head into town at night for dinner.

Review 35：Do not let the hotel take you luggage to the harbour. Ours was not there when we had to go on the boat. And the hotel receptionist just made up some story about how they were going to bring it just before the boat would take off, when I called her that our suitcases were not there. Loads of stressing while in reality hours befor they had already put them on the wrong boat.

Review 36：it is situated directly at the beach, and I would advise to book a room with seaview. The hotel is next to the only restaurant in Vlieland that is actually on the beach (het badhuis) and that is the place to be.

Review 37：The only thing we were a little disappointed with was that the hotel doesn't have a free sauna as we expected from the description. When we brought that to the attention of the staff they told us that they have asked Booking.com to change the description and that they are sorry for our disappointment and then offered us a 2-for-1 deal on their spa entrance (for 4 hours). The spa was beautiful! The other little thing was that there was no coffee or tea available in our apartment for the first day. We arrived at the hotel after 4, so by the time we got to the room all the shops were already closed.

Review 38：We loved the fact that the hotel was right on the beach, that it had great transport connections and free luggage delivery service. We also loved the warm indoors pool. The town and shops are a comfortable walk from the hotel, and if you want to take the bus it will pick you up right in front of the hotel entrance.

Review 39：Family room was cold, we faced the wind and it seemed the air-vent inthe living room could not be closed. Restaurant staff remain very slow.

Review 41：WiFi was good, but most of the time the internet connection behind the WiFi was to slow for this hotel. Even in November. We would have liked a water cooker to make ourselves some tea. Now we had to go out every time we wanted tea.

Review 42：The location is excellent. View on the beach. There are two restaurants in the hotel and one alligned restaurant on the beach. We ate in "Entre deux Mer" excellent food, original recepies and reasonable prices € 35 for three courses (excluding wine € 5 a glass). The restaurant on the beach was nice and simpler, but only a bit cheaper. The swimming pool was small but nice. Personell was friendly and helpfull.
