Reviews for Dreaming Guesthouse
Review 1:Far from train station (10 minutes by feet). No wine opener. No view from the room.
Review 2:Nice cosy clean room. Good location in nice small village. Close to the beach.
Review 3:Long walk to the car park. Few kitchen utensils. Eg no sharp knife.
Review 4:Great location near to Meta Beach. Francesa, the apartment manager was first class - very friendly and helpful. Good air conditioning. Wifi worked well.
Review 5:Could have done with some basic cleaning equipment (tea towel, dustpan and brush etc) so we could have tidied up every day; as well a bread knife and a cooking knife - there was only a cutlery knife.
Review 6:Spacious, quiet apartment with everything we needed, Very convenient for the train station, and for the bus to/from the airport. Beach just down the road, too!
Review 7:Great location, close to the beach and far from the busy traffic, cozy apartment
Review 8:No parking.
Review 9:Appartement layout.
Review 10:A bit limited for cooking utensils.
Review 11:Good value for a stay in Sorrento. Kids loved the beach and two good pizzerias on the beach front.
Review 12:Parking is a big problem and very cramped for 4 people
Review 13:Good price for a small apartment, reasonably close to Sorrento (bus & train connections) and the beach at Meta.
Review 14:The loft platform was very mouldy.Very strong musty, mouldy smell. Wood at the sea can become a hazard. Needs so fresh air in the entrance too. That was the only thing that spoilt it...
Review 15:We stayed in the studio apartment, it was a great stay.Lovely clean, bright design. Kitchen was fully equipped. Eco-friendly. Recycling all the waste... Big thumbs up for Italy! Very clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Had lots of info and advice for things to do. Very close to a beautiful cove beach. Down the steps and you're there:))
Review 16:They could do with having more cutlery like plates, dishes, knives, forks and spoons. Also could do with having a little more storage spacefor clothes etc as we found we had to use a clothes cupboard for storingjars of food, bread and our breakfast cereals. The only other suggestion I would have would be to have a booklet of information for guests either in the apartment or downstairs hallway. This could be to inform guests where to find shops, how to open the door, where to buy bus tickets (Sorrento station, we did not know this and had to ask numerous shop keepers and greengrocers)
Review 17:Peaceful and quiet, good location right next to the beach. We loved thefact that it is not a touristy resort, we were living amongst Italianneighbours. Beautiful scenery. We had the windows open in the apartmentand you could see mountains all around, hear birds singing and thebeautiful church bells were ringing.nearby are lots of Italian shopslike delis, greengrocers and butchers and we cooked dinner every nightin the apartment with the delicious local ingredients, lots of freshlocal fruit, veg, cheeses, pasta and wines. Beds were comfortable in theapartment. Veronica, the owner was easily contactable when we emailedher and answered straight away. We got the train to Sorrento quite a fewtimes which is only a couple of stops away. We used the bus. You can gettickets for the bus at meta train station. Next door is a convent andsome lovely, friendly nuns were always having a good old chat outside. They ring the bells a lot too.
Review 18:Although we said in advance that we wanted to hire a car, we really donot think we were pre-warned about how difficult it is to get a car-parking space. We were warned that it was a 10Euro car park or blue-stripe 60 cent per hour, but although they knew we were arriving onEaster Sunday, we spent a chaotic hour driving around in circles tryingto find a car parking space with a member of staff (the car park wasshut on Sunday and Monday). This was a very frustrating start to thebreak, but fortunately it did get better after the Easter holiday, butnot sure I would recommend having a car with you (although it is a bitof a trek to the train station). Also, the accommodation was down anarrow alleyway and we were not given good enough instructions, andthere is a lot of scooter noise from the alleyway early in the morning.
Review 19:We loved Meta di Sorrento, you have to love the worn-down bits as wellthough as it is very old, but we were surrounded by Italians only, andgoing shopping for food was lots of fun with. The accommodation wasreally nice, with an adequate kitchenette and room, and we settledvery quickly.
Review 20:Parking is not easy, but if you are coming by train to sorrento, it is easy to get to by train or bus (stop almost in front of the hotel).
Review 21:Easy to get to sorrento by bus. Area is lovely, minutes from the beach.

Review 24:For a family of 5, they gave us only two towels. Very spartan. We realized this after the apartment assistant had left.

Review 26:Cleanliness location no parking musty few linens.
Review 27:Friendly staff
Review 28:nice location although without wifi but doesnt really need it. Great value and really nice staff!
