Review 1：Room was very clean & modern. The bed was so comfortable to sleep on. Bev & her husband were very friendly & informative. We did a big load of washing & Bev offered to have our clothes dry in her industrial dryer instead of the small dryer in the laundry. Such a lovely place to stay we definitely would like to come back again.

Review 10：Could do with an exhaust fan when cooking. Door and windows need to be left open but a minor inconvenience. Internet access was frustrating as only allowed 500 mb at a time although more was always available from Reception.

Review 11：Easy to find. Parking right outside the room. All rooms ground level. 2 comfy chairs(so many have just one!) proper dining table with chairs. Very clean and modern. Loved the spa bath.

Review 13：A very high standard of unit servicing - very clean. Lighting was also better than a lot of motels. Dairy and several ethnic takeaways a two minute walk away and directly across from the Hawkes Bay Hospital if that's why you're in Hastings. Quieter than we'd expected too given that it's on a pretty busy road.

Review 16：The friendly accomodating attitude of the owners made the stay very pleaseant. The room provides a comfortable and very clean environment to come back to each day. Range of breakfast available was fabulous which we ordered every day. We actually stayed 2 more nights! We will definately stay again!!

Review 17：The new owners are so lovely and helpful. I couldn't work the oven but with their help we figured it out immediately! Laundry was next door and you didn't have to pay extra for washing powder or the dryer! Snack bar was great at night time, saved me going out! Spa bath was fabulous Spacious Room with full table and chairs Loved the separate bedroom, I slept in the following morning cos it was so dark :)

Review 18：Indifferent staff, mainly interested in seeing I had paid the over-priced tariff of $153 per night rather than ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. Was not given any information on check-in, e.g. wi-fi code, or thanked on check-out.

Review 31：Clean, tidy and comfortable. Booked and paid online so didn't have much to do with the staff. Clean every night when we got in - very tidy with a dvd player so we could keep our young one entertained. Also heating kept the place extra toasty while snow fell in the hills above us! A solid performance.

Review 33：Bed was a mattress on a steel frame and the pillows collapsed providing no neck support and there was no spare one to use as an additional one. Fire alarm went off and it said to evacuate the building because guest in another unit burnt the food he was cooking.
