Reviews for Hotel Residence La Ciaccia

Review 1:You need a car there are beaches all along the coast but the nearby one is not up to much. Costa Paradisio is the best we went to. The resort is a bit tired and in need of a bit of maintenance here and there, the odd broken and cracked tiles etc. The supermarket in La CiaCia is pretty basic, go to Valledoria if you are self catering.

Review 2:The pool was good for our 7 year old. The Hotel La Ciacia restaurant was great and had one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The staff were really friendly and helpful (even when we locked our keys in the room). Good value for money.

Review 3:Wifi was not working 90% of the time, lucky when working but not longer than 10 minutes. Handle bars of drawers or doors were falling off. Toilette smell was unpleasant.

Review 4:The swimming pool was fantastic, temperature was perfect.

Review 5:Airco is not working well, it actually is a fan Beds are very hard

Review 6:Walking distance to beach, supermarket Hotel's restaurant was good. Nice and clean swimmingpool Friendly staff

Review 7:The opening hours of the reception are very bad and unsuitable. We intended to check-out at 9 despite the opening hour of 9.30, but giving just a call to the boss, it was solved for us.

Review 8:Not far from the beach, neither from Castelsardo, located in a very small and quiet village, just in front of the supermarket. The swimming pool was uncrowded. The rooms were spacy, although a little bit lack of light. The boss was flexible as for our check-out time.

Review 9:The wifi was up for about 10-15 minutes per hour. The staff was constantly on the phone to Telekom Italia about it. Normally something like this would drive us nuts but everything else was so perfect we just adjusted. If we really want to get picky, the beach you can walk to is not as nice as the beach 3km down the road in Valledoria.

Review 10:We had five people and got two connected apartments - plenty of space for everyone. My son had the bed in the living room - before we arrived I was worried about his comfort but it turned out great. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one kitchen, one living room (which was never used except for my son to sleep in). SUPER nice staff - we asked for a hairdryer and water boiler. They didn't deliver it for a few hours, but when they did we saw why - they went out and bought both items for us. Also - on our second week we had four male Italian students move in next door. (I realize for some this would be a dream come true.) They were kind of messy, so the staff came and cleaned up their outer patio for them so it wouldn't disturb us. There is a grocery store across the street, a pasticceria in the building next door (for fresh bread and sweets every day) right next to a gelato place, in addition to a bar plus a nice restaurant right in the hotel. It couldn't have been more convenient. The pool was great, kept clean and we never had an issue in terms of getting lounge chairs. You can walk to a decent free beach nearby. There is a nice restaurant and a great bar overlooking the water where you can watch the sun set. Ahhhhhh. Save money by going to Palau on your own to book a trip to the islands near La Maddalena. Use the money you saved to pay for a trip on a small 10-15 person boat so you can go to smaller, more exclusive beaches. It was the best thing we did on the trip. It's worth the one hour or so trip to Spiaggia La Pelosa - one of the best beaches in Sardinia.

Review 11:Quiet village location with clean rooms & balcony overlooking pool and hillside. Hotel/apartment is close to beach with bar/restaurant on site as well.

Review 12:Not at walking distance of any city center.

Review 13:Nice terrace and pool area. The rooms are not fancy, but they are well maintained and very clean. The staff is very friendly. Quiet location in little village that is not crowded with tourists. All the things you need are at walking distance. A supermarket across the street, a gelateria around the corner and the beach is a 10min walk (the most beautiful beaches, however, can only be reached by car). The hotel restaurant is good and affordable and attracts many locals and tourist from the surrounding appartments. The majority of the tourists is Italian.

Review 14:Sometimes, during the day and because of the warm and the rubbish bank outside, our room smelled if we opened the window (it wasn´t a swimming pool view room).

Review 15:The peace The room (inside: big, with air conditioned, small fridge...) Easy to park the car You can hire excursions from the hotel Although the room didn't have hairdryer, you could ask for it at the reception, and could be provided.

Review 16:- the hotel area was dirty - the pool area was terribly dirty, nobody is cleaning there and it's very dangerous to let children walk there, there's lot of trash, lot's of bird droppings - the restaurant, the food and service is terrible - more of fast food than real restaurant - we had windows at the restaurand and it was very smelly during the evenings

Review 17:- the room was spacious - the guy in the reception was friendly and helpful

Review 18:The size of the shower is very, very small and there is no shelf for the shower gel. It would also be good to have some more privacy on the terrace (screens?), so that when you eat breakfast or dine, other guests don't walk past your table.

Review 19:A very spacious and very clean appartment. Staff is excellent. The residence is situated in a small village and you definitely need a car to visit the region, however it's close to all facilities (a small supermarket is just across the road, as well as a panificio and a gelateria). Excellent restaurant onsite. A very nice pool.

Review 20:1) No good beach close

Review 21:1) Helpful staff 2) Pool next to room 3) Big and clean room

Review 22:-location -could walk to the beach -great restaurant -supermarket, newsagent, bars etc...all within walking distance -staff has been superhelpful

Review 23:Too small shower, like baby size...

Review 24:A nice comfortable place in beautiful surroundings.

Review 25:There is not a reception 24 hours / day (which wasnt problem in our case). There is not a breakfast option with the room (but restaurant is part of the hotel so you can go there or go to the shop across the street). We didnt like the restaurant because it is dirty and waiter wasnt really polite. Food wasnt the best neither.

Review 26:The location is very close to Castelsardo which is an amazing place. Regarding beaches they are nice but Sardinia offers much nicer in other parts.

Review 27:You have to drive to the beach ( approx 20-30 min)

Review 28:Owner is very nice, speaks very good English. They upgraded our room for free :-) Room is nice, has fridge also. Swimming pool is nice. Supermarket is just in the other side of the road and they have a restaurant as well ( you can have dinner near swimming pool or at your terrace)

Review 29:Due to bad weather, inside the apartment it was rather cold. Small shower cabin

Review 30:Helpfull staff, upgrade for free. I would definately go back in case I am in the area.

Review 31:Nice hotel in lovely small village

Review 32:Location & restaurant are excellent as well as the general mood of the hotel.

Review 33:staff close to the beach nice room for a good price
