Reviews for Hotel Meridiano

Review 1:Great place to stay and so central. Easy parking outside and easy place to find. Breakfast had a great selection and fabulous views out across the beach. Highly recommended.

Review 2:bed bit too firm and windows loose therefore noisy when windy and windows not too secure

Review 3:good location for lake views and boat tours, bars, restaurants, church, sightseeing excursions or just sitting enjoying the lovely fresh air and stunning scenery. everyone helpful and polite. September conditions just right for us.

Review 4:The wifi was not great and the mattress was a bit hard.

Review 5:We didn't spend a lot of time here, but my daughter managed to get a morning swim in before we left. The beach was right there and we had a nice balcony to enjoy it.

Review 6:This is our third visit in 2014, and probably the most memorable! We were snowed in for 2 days and it was nice to have a good, warm place to sit it out. Staff again very helpful - we will stay again on our way north. Very good value for money.

Review 7:This hotel is perfectly located, close to the railway station, the beach and town. Our room had a balcony and a great view. As we were there in October the beautiful beach was not crowded. The hotel is excellent, particularly the staff The owners made us very welcome and treated us like family. All the facilities were fine - it was great having a balcony and I should think most rooms do.

Review 8:Large room with fabulous sea view, clean. Good breakfast in large dining room also with sea views, staff very helpful. 5min walk from centre of Termoli, with its lovely old town. Room rate didn't include beach umbrella etc, this was 15 euros extra per day (hotel booked it for us in advance, just emailed them) and was a few minutes walk from hotel.

Review 9:Unfriendly staff. We arrived late and received an immediate complaint about noise. Seems the partition walls are very thin. It should be possible to move around normally and have the tv at some reasonable volume without influencing other guests

Review 10:Nice coffee shop, Good location. Good view.

Review 11:Termoli is a bit run down, but nowhere near as bad as the guide books say. We really liked Termoli and it surpassed our expectations.

Review 12:We paid for a superior room. Room 311 was huge with a sea view and great view of the old town. Desk staff very very helpful and suggested several restaurants for dinner. We went with the Via Napoli suggestion. Full of locals and the food was great. The old town is very pretty. The beach looked great, but we didn't have time to use it. Hotel has free parking and a good breakfast.

Review 13:Walk in and out of the city 10-12 minutes in each direction. By the end of the day that was 6 or 8 times. An easy shuttle in would have been great. No restaurant recommendations. But again these are small matters. Termoli was just the kind of Italian find we enjoy.

Review 14:Almost everything--sea views, pleasant staff, good water pressure in room, etc.

Review 15:The shower was a bit old-fashioned.

Review 16:Great view overlooking the ocean. Good breakfast and an easy walk up the road for restaurants.

Review 17:Easy to find on the sea front close to the town centre. Visible regular maintenance. Spacious room and bathroom.

Review 18:The location, the place is like a slum area. Staff seem to be busy and don't serve with a smile!

Review 19:Room was ok. B'fast was good.

Review 20:Great location near beach and old city. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Review 21:non seemed to speak other than Italian facilities were of the previous century

Review 22:location of course

Review 23:WiFi not in bedrooms , temperamental elsewhere in hotel

Review 24:Convenience

Review 25:WiFi only worked in the foyer

Review 26:Hotel was OK, Termoli disappointing.

Review 27:Room smelled of smoke

Review 28:The location - close to beach and old town View from balcony Helpfulness of front desk

Review 29:Friendly and helpfull staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Very good coffee mos mornings

Review 30:The hotel is in a fantastic position with beautiful views of the coastline and beaches. Friendly staff.

Review 31:Every day same breakfast.

Review 32:Location, staff's are friendley and value for money.

Review 33:Location

Review 34:Although on the coast road and should be easy to find, the topography of the road arrangement around the harbour produces some dead ends when approached from the south (very minor issue). The website refers to a private beach but this is the one used by the hotel but belonging to the Mistral hotel.Normally the Meridiano charges for the usage but due to our later arrival (4:00 pm) we were given a concession ( my thanks to the gent on reception )

Review 35:Adjacent to old town and only a pleasant 10 minute walk away. Has arrangement to use Mistral Hotel Beach club. Pleasant staff with some knowledge of English. Breakfast excellent with plenty of good coffee. Room had a large balcony which would have been useful for a longer stay.

Review 36:The town of Termoli was a bit scruffy apart from the old town. Plus there was too much dog 'mess' around the shopping area

Review 37:The excellent reception staff. Always more than helpful.

Review 38:Our second visit within 6 weeks. We enjoyed our stay just a much as first time around. Staff very accommodating and great breakfast with a view! Car parking on site.

Review 39:No bath;shower only

Review 40:The hotel has a fantastic location, with views of the beach and old town The room was quite spacious The beds were narrow, but very comfortable The staff were very friendly and helpful in every way

Review 41:Easy parking, fast check-in and proximity to the main town. Reception and dining room staff very pleasant and helpful. Large room and all facilities very good

Review 42:I booked this hotel because your web site said it was ok with dogs with prior notice which I gave on my booking . After driving 250 miles I was told that dogs were not allowed and then I had to pay 16euro per dog ( I have 2 small dogs ) per night in cash .Total cost of 64 euro which I paid .I am still waiting for booking .com to reply to my request for a refund .

Review 43:Lovely large balcony but no furniture on it. A table and chairs would enable you to make use of the space.

Review 44:Location is excellent, right on the seafront about a 10 minute walk from the station (via steps) / town centre. Hotel was clean and the room was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly reception staff. Good choice of food for breakfast which included proper coffee/cappuccino/juices (not from a machine).

Review 45:A bit dated decoration

Review 46:Nice view in front of the sea with balcony Big and comfortable rooms Good breakfast Good wi-fi Option to book beach facilities from the hotel at good price

Review 47:Initially the 2nd beach front room that I had reserved was unavailable but after some discussion it became available - not sure of the story there. I thought the price of renting an umbrella, chair and long chair a little costly 15 Euros per day.

Review 48:Location was great, breakfast was decent, rooms and staff very efficient.

Review 49:They have a problem with the elevator, is the slowest one in the world. You must use the stairs, be prepared for that.

Review 50:All but the elevator was great, not cheap but fair price for what you get. It is worth it.

Review 51:Didn't like the lido staff ( the guy in charge of the beach chairs)got tired waiting for someone he's to busy checking the young girlsout instead of doing his job.. Also expensive two umbrellas four chairsfor two days 60€..

Review 52:Great location easy acsess from train or bus stations ( maybe 1km frombus station about 500m from train ) great little restaurants near by ..Not as many tourist so prices are better.. Also right on the beach greatview!! Enjoyed our stay..

Review 53:The position of the hotel right next to the Adriatic Sea is amazing. When eating at the Hotel’s restaurant, we had a clear view of the Adriatic Sea as the sun dimmed, which was beautiful. The dining experience was enhanced by the skill and professionalism of the waiter, making for a truly outstanding experience. The Hotel staff are exceptionally friendly, with a young lady helping us English speakers to select our food, by going through the menu and explaining just what each meal exactly was. A true delight of a place to stay at.

Review 54:The room was fairly basic. Functional, but not much charm!

Review 55:The room had a good view over the beach. OK meal in restaurant.

Review 56:Everything was great

Review 57:the location with an awesome view of the beach and ocean

Review 58:The room was musty and the staff at reception were surly.

Review 59:The view from the room was good and the wait staff were also good.

Review 60:Very hard to locate.

Review 61:Close to Old town

Review 62:Nothing

Review 63:Close access to the beautiful town of Termoli.
