Review 1：Cold rooms, feels like heating blows cold air out, windows appear draughty , poor restaurant service on friday and saturday nights, waited over 60 minutes for a meal. Located away from town. 15 minutes walk. Long check-out queues on friday, only two staff at checkout counter. Difficult to park on weekends due to cinema and casino. Small pool and gym

Review 12：Hoorn is the most luxurious Van De Valk we have ever been to. Very friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant.

Review 13：Although the bathroom was cleaned and replenished daily, the bedroom did not appear to have been cleaned/hoovered thoroughly during our 8 night stay. Cannot be over-critical of the cleaners on this point; they are doubtless on minimum wage and have a time limit for cleaning each room as in England.

Review 14：Staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, impeccable English speakers. Breakfast was comprehensive although lacking a 'full English'. Dinner was extensive, although over 7 nights the same selection of potatoes/vegetables in 3 accompanying dishes might be regarded as tedious (we did not find it so).

Review 24：If you forget anything, or if you adaptor gets fried, or if you need a little snack, there is nothing available to purchase. Or if you want a quick, small meal and a simple cup of Ramen noodles would do, there is nothing you can do and no place nearby to walk. You'll need a car.

Review 25：The rooms were very nice and comfortable. When you hang your towel to use again the next day, they actually leave it for you. Most hotels post their green policy and give you instructions on how to help, then they replace your towels anyway.

Review 26：- Some things could be improved to make it an ideal hotel. First, to have the English version of the website, hotel correspondence and hotel information.- Second, a shuttle service to Hoorn would be very welcome. The hotel can only call a taxi for you to get to the city and it can cost around 7-8 Euro. - The hotel is a bit far from the city centre. A short walk of 15 min is enough to reach Hoorn train station.

Review 27：- Large, clean and comfortable rooms- good wifi signal - excellent facilities, including cinema, restaurant, bar, casino, all within the hotel - Except for a few desirable improvements, the hotel is perfect.

Review 28：For English people we could have done with some milk on the tea tray, but we could have asked and it wouldn't have been a problem. The bathroom was beautiful but the floor outside the shower got very wet as the water could't run away fast enough,

Review 30：It is still on building and at 07 am they were drilling the walls. In the breakfast (1st day ) there were no eggs to eat fried eggs!! The frigobar disconnects when you take the room key There were mosquitos in the room The Light of the desk didn´t disconnected so I had to sleep 3 night with light on!!
