Review 1：The management and staff at this hotel is truly exceptional. They are here to help you in any way possible. We needed reservations--they made them, we needed transportation--they arranged (and paid!) for it, we needed internet--they let us use it for free, etc. Loved this place because of its friendly, helpful manager and staff.

Review 3：This is an authentic Japanese Hotel. You experience the true flavour of a Japanese people travelling. There will be very few westerners but if you like engaging with the locals this is a great way to do it. Once you are settled, get into your Yakata (robe) and join the locals at the Onsen. It takes away the aches from the 1000 steps to the mountain top shrine. Many thanks to reception manger Kenji Tanaka & assistant Hanna, for their wonderful friendly service. This is good value hotel with more to offer then just a room. Service in general, attentive & delightful.
