Review 1：Wifi only available right next to office - would be a big plus if this was available in rooms/pool area. Not close to any restaurants.

Review 2：Free wifi (a rarity in Darwin). Very helpful & friendly owner. Well-equipped cooking area & fridge in room, en-suite facilities, wifi. Pool & free parking. Fairly close to botanic gardens. Good value.

Review 3：Needed a taxis to get into town and Darwin taxis leave a lot to be desired! (We arrived by The Ghan so didn't have our own car).

Review 7：Motel close to Darwin town and entertainment section. A very old motel in need of a major upgrade but despite age, clean and functional. Proprietor/manager very welcoming and helpful. Property needs a lighted sign as very difficult to find after sunset.

Review 8：The room was traffic noisy from front road. The air conditioning switch was in a high position above one of the beds.- awkward. I am an older person, and there are 2 lots of steps from car park to reception which was difficult for me.

Review 18：very friendly landlords. I could hose my rented car in the motel car park and I got free of charge a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the car. Check out time at departure was extended from 10 to 11am without any problems.

Review 21：Simple hotel in a good location: easy to walk in Darwin for shopping ...etc... and for visiting the Botanic Gardens, Mindil Beach and Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. The rooms are clean. The kitchen is basic but useful for breakfast or having a ready meal using the micro-wave oven. Mugs, plates, glasses ...etc...are provided. There is a fridge and a TV. The swimming pool is so useful after a hot day walking around.

Review 22：A warm welcome from the staff. Apartment has all to need to cook food .beds are very good. The rooms have aircon units and fans. If you don't want to cook, then there is a pub across the road that does very good food.

Review 23：Bed was squeaky & bumpy & we could feel the springs. Also a roll together problem. Dishcloth looked as if it had been in the cupboard for weeks. Fridge door was rusty. Noisy situation late into the night. Furniture needs replacing.

Review 79：It had everything I needed for a short stay. I think the room, and definitely the bathroom are larger than normal - didn't feel cramped anyway. Pub across the road serves tasty pub meals and there is also a bottleshop. I always managed to get a car park spot. I felt at home and would stay again.

Review 90：Our stay at Palms motel was very nice. The owners were nice as well as the cleaners. Its a very family friendly motel, with all the facilities u need as well as being good value for money. The kids loved the pool as well. We booked a triple room even though there were four of us and just said the 2 little ones could double up on the single bed but when we checked in to the motel they had put an extra bed in the room for us at no extra cost, that was very nice and appreciated :) We would most definately stay again :)

Review 98：My husband & I plus our 24 year old daughter stayed at Palms Motel for 2 nights while attending a family wedding in Darwin. We had a family room which was very spacious and very clean. The aircon was reasonably quiet and very efficient. The beds were extremely comfortable too. It was quiet and in a great location close to everything. The pool area is great and I wished we had more time to enjoy it. There was an iron in the room. We weren't disappointed by The Palms as it doesn't misrepresent itself in its' advertising like some hotels we've stayed in. It's a 3 star motel that we'd be happy to stay in again in the future.

Review 99：The room we stayed at was like a small apartment very spacious. Within walking distance to everything. Beds are comfortable. Value for money especially if you are on a tight budget with a small family,.

The room/s were basic but clean and, in addition to TV/ Tea & coffee facilities/ bar fridge, the inclusion of an electric hotplate, microwave, and crockery/cutlery was great!
