Review 1：Location is great due to view and really bad considering getting to town which is close but a very difficult walk either up steep hill and down many, many steps, or walking along a highway with an 18 inch edge. Toilet ran, and staff said they all did. Doors to balcony which is open to other rooms in our two rooms broken. Staff said they were all that way, "no problem." Room safe fas sitting on closet shelf and could be picked up and carried away. Staff did not care -- all that way. Dinner was really poor, worst in our weeks in Italy. Problems with shower, and no soap dish or ledge. Nice enough, but too many negatives and bad attitude will keep these two couples away.

Review 17：Exactly as promised. I booked this hotel because of the amazing pictures of the deck views. They were very true to life. The roof top bar was also a big plus. We weren't crazy about Elba altogether, but the hotel was definitely a highlight.

We had a large room with an enormous terrace - perfect for watching all the boats come into the cove at night. Breakfast was amazing! Hotel is just a quick walk into town. Just beautiful!

Review 47：The WIFI didn't work in our room and we had to change after the first night. As the out door terrace roof is above the ceiling of the superior rooms, the noise of children running and playing above our heads was a bit annoying some evenings.

While somewhat limited dinner menu, the food was excellent and with the free cold buffet to start, good value and plenty of it. Cold breakfast buffet on the terrace was also fantastic with the best selection we've seen plus eggs to order.

Review 50：The hotel is quite old and the rooms too. The room was clean. The surroundings are nice but you should probably visit the hotel during the summer period. Wireless WiFi is said to be included in the price but did not work at all for us (tried several times together with the staff).

Review 51：The terrase (around 150-200m2) was shared between 7 superior rooms. Quality of the hotel and rooms does not match 4 starrs, three stars maximum. The food was bad (ex. we ordered grilled fish and it was so dry, i am sure they used frozen fish to prepare it). Only receptionist speaks English, however we managed. Breakfast was very poor, without even eggs.
