Reviews for Residenza Sveva

Review 1:The person in the office, in attendance on our arrival, was not particularly friendly, nor helpful, however, the man in attendance the following two days was excellent.

Review 2:A gorgeous, quirky apartment as part of the "diffusi" in the medieval centre of Termoli. Perfect position.

Review 3:The gentlemen who looked after us were just so helpful and friendly and they made a great breakfast as well. We had 3 rooms and all of them were delightfully furnished, large enough, great bathrooms, spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Review 4:There is nothing that my wife and I did not like, however breakfast may have been a problem if it had been raining, as you have to leave your room and walk into the Piazza to get your meal. Mind you take a look at what we did like.

Review 5:The quirky breakfast location and the overall location of the complex.

Review 6:WiFi not available in #19, however it was available in the office area and was not a negative factor for us, but just wanted to mention for those tech savvy folks. The trade off for the room vs. no WiFi was worth it for us.

Review 7:The room (#19) was amazing. Décor was charming. View of Adriatic coast was awesome.

Review 8:Great location in the centre of the old town (light sleepers note it can get noisy at weekends in the main square)the room was clean, comfortable room with a sea view & a good buffet breakfast all at a very reasonable price.

Review 9:Poor accessibility to the rooms, unfriendly staff. The staff did not help us with requests. Complicated parking and loading/unloading of our luggages. Foul smelling garbage underneath our hotel rooms, requesteed them to be removed and this was not done. Loud surroundings at night due to nightly music festivals in the immediate surroundings of our rooms.

Review 10:The ocean view.

Review 11:What can we say? Unbelievable view from our room/balcony onto the beach from the beautiful historic center. Short walk down to the public beach and beach clubs. Clean room, great breakfast and excellent location. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Just something to be aware of...no elevator to our second floor (0,1,2) room, which we wouldn't have used anyways. The nightlife sounds can go somewhat late so beware if you're looking for a silent night; however, we actually enjoyed the energy from the streets.

Review 12:Comfortable rooms and such a practical location. Michele was an absolute gentleman who went out of his way to help us. Thank you so much...we will be back!!!!

Review 13:Es gibt kaum Parkplätze in der näheren Umgebung.

Review 14:Schöne Lage im Zentrum der Altstadt. Ausgezeichnetes à la Carte Restaurant angeschlossen. Die Unterkünfte sind in der Altstadt verteilt.

Review 15:Breakfast did not have much selection and there was no warm meal.

Review 16:Friendly and helpful hosts; great location in the historic center of Termoli; excellent view of the sea towards Abruzzo.

Review 17:I have to change room, as Wi-Fi was too weak in one of the rooms

Review 18:very central location, convenient to explore the old city centre, friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms, high standard of cleanliness

Review 19:but you had to go through old dirty house to access your own small house that owner turned into guest rooms

Review 20:everything was fantastic, beautiful room, perfectly equipped with lots of toiletries, clean, nice decoration, nice owner, located in old town

Review 21:For our room, two flights of steep stairs with no lift.

Review 22:This hotel puts you in a room in one of several nearby buildings. Ours was very tastefully decorated and very convenient in the old town. Breakfast in the hotel building very plentiful. The owner is keen to provide everything you require. Full marks to him.

Review 23:The fact that the windows to the apartment were left open and the air conditioner was left off when we arrived. A hot apartment with mosquitos flying around is not the start you expect especially on a hot summer day.

Review 24:The convenience to the City and to the nightlife and to many assorted restaurants and shops. Having the beach just a few steps away was glorious. The view from the old port was magnificent. The staff were super friendly and so helpful when organising transport nothing was too much effort for these wonderful people. We even met the owner and he was a true gentleman.

Review 25:Initially I was given a room on the ground floor in another building. I didn't like it as it had no window and was stuffy. Michele changed me to another room in the building where the reception was. This room was much better.

Review 26:Location is perfect. Room is beautifully decorated. I had a late check-out on Sunday so I could go for a swim in the nearby beach, come back for a shower, then catch my train in early afternoon.

Review 27:Nothing bad to say about Residenza Sveva.

Review 28:Loved everything, Michele at the front desk was very friendly, give us good information and directions of what we wanted to go. Lori in the morning served us coffee and croissant very nice spoke English. The rooms were cleaned every day changed the towels and did our bed.

Review 29:Walking distance from the port. Old World traditional charm. Willing and helpful staff

Review 30:The room had no windows to the outside

Review 31:Ottimo staff e location

Review 32:Nothing

Review 33:Historic location. Friendly and helpful manager. Cozy. Clean. Quite a place.

Review 34:The breakfast room is a little gloomy and tight - but the breakfast itself is OK.

Review 35:Good room size and spacious well-fitted bathroom. Spotlessly clean.

Review 36:Stairs to get to our room.

Review 37:Clean room, Nice staff (Michael) breakfast fresh pastries and good variety. Closeness to the port and the beach.

Review 38:Outstanding spot to relax and explore the old town. Good beaches and a fantastic restaurant very close by. Very helpful staff.

Review 39:small room

Review 40:location,stuff

Review 41:More choice for breakfast Small shower

Review 42:Location Room

Review 43:My partner and I were the only two eating the modest breakfast provided, we were enjoying each others company, laughing and enjoying the morning. Just as we were about to leave the woman making the teas and coffees (who got angry when I asked for milk) told us off and asked us to be quiet.

Review 44:This room is in a lovely town. The location really makes the stay special. The shower is amazing.

Review 45:The shower was under the slope of the roof. Extreme caution is needed to avoid injury. We had to got to reception for Wi-Fi reception.

Review 46:Beautifully situated in the old town with a stunning view along the length of the beach. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Review 47:Nothing at all. Great value for money and helpful staff.

Review 48:Location was fantastic right in the middle of Termoli's centro storico. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and two minutes to a sea view. Room very comfortable and clean with a spacious bathroom ensuite. Breakfast was more than adequate and offered a good choice when compared with many other Italian hotels I've stayed at.

Review 49:We were not given prior notice about the five different locations of the residence and unfortunately, we waited at the one without anyone there. We knocked at the door and waited for hours until someone at the bar nearby helped us phone the staff. This was the worst travel experience ever! Also, this was overpriced with such a standard of service quality.

Review 50:The staff was friendly but overwhelmed with the tasks of taking care of five different locations.

Review 51:great view. great restaurant. friendly and cooperative staff. really nice place. our room was excellent and if you go there in summer with also 2 children you have the kitchen. you can park your car in the old city with a personal pass.

Review 52:Really good central location. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Access to private beach included in the room price which was brilliant when you are on holiday with children.

Review 53:not a thing

Review 54:the staff, it's proximity to ammentities- restaurants, the beach, shops, long term parking and 'la passeggiata'. we particularly loved it's unique 'concept' charm.

Review 55:Nulla, niente, nothing...everything was perfect!

Review 56:The location was perfect. Our room was facing the Adriatic Sea and we had a little balcony. The staff was great...Claudio was very nice and Paolo was just amazing! He was the greatest host ever...he even gave us a rebate on the price we were supposed to pay! The complimentary breakfast in the morning was also appreciated. Another great thing about this hotel is that it has some sort of connection with a restaurant called Ristorante Svevia -which serves better food than any other restaurant we've been to in Italy (apart from Termoli, we also went to Firenze and Rome)- and it was not expensive. I think it cost us 34 euros for 2. Ancora una volta, grazie mille Paolo! Tu sei il migliore degli ospiti!!! Alla prossima amico mio! Tanya ed Angelo

Review 57:A bit pricey but overall an excellent stay.

Review 58:Location within the castle walls was lovely and the castle itself lies between the Port and a stretch of beach.

Review 59:Location of our rooms in a rather rundown building. I did not likehaving to cross the clothes hanging on the line of other residents (notthe hotel) in order to get to our front door.

Review 60:The rooms are very uniquely designed but the approach to the buildingthey are in is a bit seedy. The Hotel is a series of rooms in a seriesof buildings and perhaps we just had an average location. The restaurantis phenomenal and the food and service is exceptional. The location isin the antique quarter of the old city and is very interesting to see. However, much of it is undergoing renovation.

Review 61:The room was a little too hot and we weren't able to figure out how toturn the heating down. It was exceptionally cold outside though so maybeit was a thermostat issue. We still slept quite well however!

Review 62:Above all we liked the decor of the room that was so welcoming. Warmtones and colors set us at rest immediately after quite a long drive. That evening we were able to stroll to the hotel's restaurant fordinner and were met with a great menu and enjoyed our meal so much thatwe'd go back just to go there again. Breakfast the next morning was inanother building, but only a stroll away, and was again a beautifullydecorated room with really friendly and helpful staff. The cappucinowas good, breakfast selection abundant and we felt very rested evenafter only staying one night. We'd definitely book here again. Agorgeous town surrounds the hotel as well, we can only imagine what itmust be like in summer!

Review 63:Michael, our host was the very best. He made our visit even more special. He is the best representative your company could hve.

Review 64:Out of the way for the town

Review 65:spacious room, nice view, decent breakfast, friendly reception

Review 66:well placed hotel

Review 67:Non vedo l'ora di tornarci!!!

Review 68:leak in roof

Review 69:location

Review 70:The stairs are quite dark also in daylight.

Review 71:Very nice hotel in a very good location in the old town and close to the beach.
